Greetings from Scotland! The show is simply called "DUETS" and the premise is that 2 singers are selected to perform a song, but neither is told who the other is. Both are rehearsed separately and in secret and when the duet starts, one singer is hidden. Neither singer can clearly hear the other because of heavy distortion in their earpieces. Only when the final dividing wall is lifted is the distortion lifted! You see the surprise on both faces, because they are actually friends, from back on the "ShowMASKGoOn" series where they were both contestants. (Yulia is the famous woman in red who has that incredibly surprised look.) Toni Braxton has a contralto voice, so Yulia had to sing very deep (for her) and she did very well! Of course, Diana was well within her comfort zone. The result was very good and it is always nice to see friends meeting in a surprise.
Diana is an Anchor in all her duets, she never makes mistakes, always saving performances , she is the base of the mountain and the top at the same time. Julia is an incredible artist herself, this duet was made in heavens, Julia sang slightly higher than Toni and Diana went lower than Toni Braxton but the combination was 11/10
