Is cooking oil used to cook the food included in the nutritional information on packages?

Hey how does it work when a recipe calls for 2 tsp. baking powder, but the unit in recipal only has 1/8 tsp measurement

There are a couple of options here. If the unit is 1/8 tsp and you need 2 tsp then your quantity would be 16 (16 * 1/8 = 2 tsp). For all of our USDA ingredients all standard unit measurements will be automatically available. However, sometimes when users add ingredients they use odd units. In these cases, you always have the option to copy the ingredient and add the additional units you would like.

How can I get a product that’s already made in stores into my recipe

@@amyurlacher4385 You can accomplish that by using the create custom ingredient option. All you have to do is copy the information from their nutrition fact panel into the system. From there, you can use it as an ingredient in your own recipes. One thing to note, nutrition fact panels provide rounded values, so to get the most accurate nutritional information you can reach out to the supplier for a spec sheet and use that to create your custom ingredient.
