You find it occasionally on the travelling Chao salesman, so just keep looking for him and then just buy as many sandwiches as possible when you find him with the right stock.
It's probably best to make sure the price is actually at discount. It's base value is about 180 rings, which is ludicrous, but sometimes it can drop as low as _50_ rings
I'm playing it with my younger cousins right now. They're both 6, and I decided to have them play it at the same age I did. We're all having fun with it, and I hope they do the same with their younger family members in the future :)

You can crawl into the rings to get even more. I got the multiplier to go from 4 to 20 just by crawling

If you have Empire City, you can get more exp from getting steak. It's more expensive, but it's worth it.
In terms of Xp per ring, the chili-dog is probably the best deal (.6 xp per ring, vs the steak's .56 per ring)
By the BIG G STEAK ( i think it's that) from emmpire city it gives the most xp
There's actually a faster place to get chili dogs, and its at the shop that's also in chu-nan.

I got to greedy and made the multipliers go to 100 and then it reset
Don't go past the multiplier of 99 if you collect rings for awhile whites at 99 it'll go to a hundred and won't reset
