Hello everyone, hope you're all fine! This is another video from my pre-corona archive, I hope it is enjoyable regardless. Because I made this video with different microphones there are some differences in the audio, so please forgive me that.
Fresh content is also in production, even though it's not easy to create at this moment. Thank you for watching and have an amazing day!

Warm greetings from Germany! I can tell you that the ICE 3 is by far the best train from Deutsche Bahn! ICE 1 and 2 were definitely very good trains, but they are getting on in years. The ICE 4 was a step backwards in all respects. With the ICE 3, however, there are actually no major criticisms.
I have already seen a few of your videos and I really liked them all! you have my subscription!

Den Haag is worth a visit as it is quieter than Amsterdam and more friendly. The station at Haarlem is a masterpiece of art deco! Really superb.

did you make any videos of the dutch rail system while there? I live in SW Montana in a little farming town (Churchill)1500m in a high valley in the Rocky Mountains. they are talking about reinstating the southern route of the Empire Builder on Amtrak, but as of now no passenger rail service

Hi, thanks for watching and your comment! No, I haven’t tested the Dutch railway yet, that is something for a future video, hopefully in summer.
That sounds like a nice location up in the mountains! I can imagine the trains may have some difficulties because of the weather conditions?
Looking at the big picture, the new administration in the US may promote the railway more than in the past, so maybe we are going to see increased investments into the railway infrastructure and new trains!

    Very good videos!
I am wondering, how to know in which train your seats are if there are two trains put together? I guess both of them have same car numbers?

Hi, thanks for watching and your comment! The train numbers are shown digital signs, which you can see in the video and a unique number is designated to each coach. That way, there is no confusion.

Why do Thalys and Italian trains have free catering for first class but not tgv and ice
