The Omegaverse is a genre in fanfiction where the characters are divided not into two genders as we have, but into as many as three, Alpha, Beta, and Omega.
The first gender is Alpha.
For the most part is represented by a man, and based on the name it is clear that he is brutal, strong and confident. At the same time, he has a distinctive flair that allows him to find his Omega at a considerable distance by scent.
Omega's second gender.
This creature is the complete opposite of the Alpha, he is weak and dependent. Omega can be either male or female, and if the local kralya does not differ from the usual girls, the male has several physiological differences. When the heat comes, an*s begins to actively produce a lubricant, with a noticeable increase in odor, from which all the Alphas go crazy, and even Betas begin to sniff interested. Another, rather disgusting feature of the Omega's body structure is the uterus, a full-fledged uterus, capable of bearing offspring. However, Omega can only get pregnant when she is in heat, which is a bit of a downer.
The third sex of Beta.
These creatures are no different from ordinary humans, and according to the creator of the world Omegaverse remained human only because they are unable to evolve. Although some see Beta as underdeveloped traits of Alpha and Omega. It is believed that Beta can smell the odor emitted by Omega during heat, but it affects him not with the same force as Alpha. Zenji, because in all the BLs I've watched, it's always the Alphas who treat his Omega badly but Zenji is just like that, gentelmen (I hope it stays that way, because in some of the BLs I've watched, there are weird characters for Alphas like Zenji)
