Why do we multiply when converting from g/cm^3 to kg/m^3 shouldn’t it be divided instead? I thought when you are converting from a smaller unit to a bigger unit you were supposed to divide. Edit: guys I understood it tysm.
Bro look , 1 kg is 1000g so 1k g is 0.001g and we just multiply upper part which is g ( gram of g/cm3) with 10^-3 and below which is cm3( cm3 in g/cm3) we multiply it with 10^-6 because 1cm3 is 0.000001 m3. After doing this we cancel 10^-3 with 10^-6 and it would be 10^-3-(-6) which is 10^-3+6 which is 10^3, that is why we multiply it with 1000
Don't feel bad, please. This crap stumped me for a minute and I had to pause and check myself. It's bc the conversion factor for cm to m is cubed, FYI Maybe you got it, but somebody else might have the same question so imma share here
Organic Chemistry Tutor please I have a test next week Monday and I do not understand binary operations can you please help me with it by the way my name is John

Hey you are misunderstanding numerator values with denominator values. It goes up.

thank you so much for this awesome simple video 💯
I thought this was super interesting when it came to batteries. Maybe a video on batteries and SG.
Thank you🤍
Interesting take 👈👈
More grace sir❤
omg the term "specific gravity" makes me think of many other things instead of the density of some object relative to the density of water 😔
yay
new video
