We have to look at modal verbs as vital and special parts of English language and therefore turning out the highest importance to teach them. They're always at the top of podium that bring about universal using them as head of the language to express a bunch of subjects.
Thanks so much for sharing, @diegodiniz-zw9fn! 😄
Doog day! Thank you very much for the lesson, it is useful. But I'd like you ask one question What distinction between "used to" and "would"? Thanks!

Yes, Yes, Yes
Let's go! 👏
Can we use the modal verbs before the verb followed by infinitive, noun pronoun and infinitive, that clauses and wh words?
For instance,
You should tell your colleague that there will be a meeting.
You must tell your colleague to go to work today.
You should show your how to perform his tasks.
You must ask your friend where he has been.
Do the modal verbs affect the structure of the verb that follows them?
Great question! Yes
Mor like this❤❤❤
More to come! 🤩
Yes i would.
Let's go! 👏
Yes, I can.

Both cannot and can not are perfectly fine, but cannot is far more common and is therefore recommended, especially in any kind of formal writing. Can't has the same meaning, but as with contractions in general, it is somewhat informal.
"Cannot" is the correct spelling of the word. "Can not" is used in a different way. "Can't" is what native speakers use. You can review the lesson here: ua-cam.com/video/55d1OSJ-dIk/v-deo.html
@@JForrestEnglish Both the one-word form cannot and the two-word form can not are acceptable, but cannot is more common (in the Oxford English Corpus, three times as common). The two-word form is generally required in constructions where not is part of a set phrase, such as 'not only... but (also)': Paul can not only sing well, but also paint brilliantly.
An important contrast is that cannot is definitive, whereas can not is open to other options: Jane cannot go to the party. indicates an insurmountable obstacle preventing Jane's attendance at the party, whilst Jane can not go to the party. indicates that Jane is free to choose to attend or be absent.
In spoken English emphasis may be placed on the first syllable of cannot (e.g. /ˈkænɒt/) in the first phrase and on not in the second phrase (e.g. /kən ˈnɒt/) when it is intended to clearly articulate which form is meant. en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/cannot
interesting
Thank you so much! 😊
Yes I can,yes I can 😊
Let's go! 👏
thank you🥰 and I want to ask that can we use "previously I could not speak French but now I can" instead of "previously I could speak French but now I can't."

Hi mam I am from India there so many uses of would and could in English probably more than 20 uses of each it would be great if you make a video in detail native speaker often uses would in a lot of different context and it gets so confusing, for example" it would be great"what sense would gives here and while explaining anything English speaker uses it would be something, you would say , what kind of sense would gives here please explain can we use would for future sense as well
Great suggestion!

How you explain for us model verbs
Great question! I'll answer that in a future lesson! 😁
Does the structure of the verb that follows the modal verb stay the same?
For example,
Can I say
You should tell your colleagues that there’ll be a meeting tomorrow.
You must tell your colleagues to start work immediately.
You should know how to perform your tasks properly.
I might ask my teacher how to improve my English.
Do the modal verbs affect the structure of the verb which follows them?
Great question! I'll answer that in a future lesson! 😁
Thank you very much! When will this lesson take place? Can you please discuss modal verbs followed by verbs followed by noun/pronoun and infinitive, noun/pronoun and wh words, that clauses? You can include modal verbs followed by verb followed by gerund. For instance,
I will consider buying my friend a gift.
I might consider buying my friend a gift.
Thanks a lot!

Hello my teacher whats up i hope the best for you 😂
Hi 👋😁 Thanks for watching!
Why one of them with can,may but the other with can ,could, sentences like each other but what a difference?
Great question! I'll answer that in a future lesson! 😁
The use of must/ mustn't is slightly different in Br.English
Oh really?
No.5 We __ go to the park later, It depends on the weather. Can We use "could "here?
No. 8 It's cold in here, __ I close the window? Can We use "could" here?
I'm always confused about model verbs.😂
Yes...technically you're right 😂😂😂
We can use modal of probability:I could go to the park,if the weather is in grasp. It's so cold here, could you close the window, please? We use could in both examples.
@@diegodiniz-zw9fn thank you!
@@JForrestEnglish Thank you, my excellent English teacher🤗
