God I feel so much unease listening to this. I feel so much dread and emptiness. This sounds quite literally like nails on a chalkboard. Is this what pushes the boundaries to what can and cannot be considered music? No coherent melody, harmonies, chord progression, rhythm, or any other musical qualities whatsoever. All I feel is complete and utter dread and anxiety. It's hard to express how listening to this made me feel. It's almost as if a combination of various negative emotions and emptiness were all I felt during this. Almost like it could invoke depression.

I don't like it per se, but I understand where it's coming from. This kind of anti-music was invented by Dadaists like Antonin Artaud, and has parallels in acts like Nurse with Wound, Richard Ramirez, and of course, Merzbow. If you like The New Blockaders, you will like these other bands.
