Elastics Braided into a Messy Bun

Start with a center part
Take a two inch diagonal section from the part line to the hairline
Secure with an elastic
Take another two inch diagonal section parallel to the first and secure with an elastic
Take a third section parallel to the second and secure with an elastic
Repeat on the opposite side
Secure the rest of the hair in a low center ponytail leaving the small ponytails out
Braid each small ponytail to the end and secure to the main ponytail
Add a messy bun by taking another elastic (sometimes I double up the elastic)
Pull the ponytail through the elastic one time
Then leave the elastic on your fingers while you split the pony in half
Take the top half and curl it upwards while holding in place with your top finger
Take the bottom half and curl it under while holding in place with your thumb
Pull the remaining elastic over the two curled sections
Now curl the ends and put them back through the elastic a section at a time
