I just got the DCB D4 for my Ibanez EHB1005MS. The stock Barts are way too dark in comparison to what I want to hear. Looking forward to the switch this week. Great video, thank you!
You can change the pickups in your bass all you want but the tone isn't going to change much at all. Output wise or a reduction in noise if active, but that's about it.
Bruh WHUT?! It’s literally how the instrument transmits sound? How could you think it DOESNT change tone? It’s probably the most important piece on an electric instrument. You smokin the bad stuff.

@@manykzdj792 audibly better. The new pickups made the preamp a lot more sensitive to changes and increased the clarity.

can I to install some preamp OBP in a bass without pickups? My bass has a bridge with piezoelectric sistem.
