    Lean manufacturing completely changed the company i work for. It lost many customers because of the drastic drop in quality. Process does not work for custom products. Its makes every job simple enough so that any one can come in off the street and do the "job". This gives the employer a reason to replaced valued techs with a good wage for any person off the street with no intentions of keeping the job longer than a year.
