Creative folks.. It's great that the drummer is able to maintain the "BPM" as per the samples and melody.. Amazing coordination.
I wish more artists would try doing live things like these legends!
I've been following these cats since 2009. Was a little disappointed when they went the electronic route but a new level of respect after seeing how much work goes into their setup and to keep time is dope.
+mindalteringfx Why be disappointed? They're still playing real instruments, just the samples are set via a computer instead of stored locally or being acoustic. It only has benefits. It's easier to lug around and has fewer limitations. The only time I'd be "disappointed" in seeing a musician switch to electronic is for something like a guitar or bass. Keyboard, drums (tho acoustic is cooler - I'm a drummer and producer) and such are the same performance wise. Especially if the samples are set to real acoustic sounds.
+mindalteringfx the new electronic is and takes skills i dunno shit but come on their doing tons of shit that takes memory to know what to do and all have a skill and with the age of computer is the brain why get mad!? just how i see it..
You did it. You actually did it. All my Respect..
i saw them live up front at Nocturnal! front row, and after seeing this and seeing how it all comes together! wow! just wow! sick af!!! new level of respect!
I got my eyes on that Roland drum module!!! It'll be awesome to play edm live!
very nice interview & walkthrough, big up DJTT!
“I’m Ableton curious “ I definitely like his setup and I have been slowly copying Adam, bought a KT-10 kick tigger, strike multipad next to my ride, pdx-8 left of my hats, strike module for main module
DJTT Could u please make a video where Ean shows his mapping of the x1mk2 ? I think a lot of people would appreciate that. Anyways, keep u the great work !
Saw them in Barcelona, incredible
Very Smooth Set!!!
you guys sound great!
Wouldn't mind some mic'd toms in the mix, curious if that's the only reason they got rid of them
I love the way DJing is going!
Anybody know where I can find the live performance that's in the intro? Sounds awesome
You guys are cool
Great stuff!
awesome team!!
This is wicked
This was a great video that gave me amazing insight into how a band is doing things differently
How do you get/make the riser effect? thx
my only question is.. who plays the 808 bass ? D:
It's on the keyboard. Watch at 4:28, he explains how he has the the whole thing mapped in a way that allows him to simultaneously play synth melodies, bass parts, and even some samples/effects
This shit is fuckin amazing !!!!!!
MUCH LOVE JR FLOW PEACE from DJfreecan from oldschool DMCCANADA
anybody know what drum equipment he used?
I wish more edm shows are set up like them instead of just one guy with a laptop and a drumpad/dj kit/launcher.
what is the first sample used
what is that last song?
crazy love it
Ayy X32 in the back.
Whats the last song played?
+illGatessGaming Remix or live edit of dj snake - birthday song
Btw check out DJ Snake - Birthday Song (Kovalenco Gennadi Bootleg)
awesome
sick
This is what electronic orchestra look like.
Cool
Vocal chop was dirty 🥴🤩
I think I would have a click track running in Ableton, and going into an IEM for everyone. That way if the keyboardist had something dependent on tempo (like an arpeggio) everyone would be in sync with it.
what is that intro song?
LOVE these guys. Great that DJTT featured them. Such a cool setup.
