    Looks good! Mazda did a great job on the looks but it was lacking in power until 2018… which is when I got mine! GT Reserve Turbo!! Just started modding mine and its liking the upgrades! Biggest improvement was powerstop drilled/slotted rotors and w/z23 pads all around. Also kept the stock rims but added 245/45/19 tires instead! Even without lowering springs the car is planted now! I will keep up this channel to see what else you may do! Thanks for sharing!

    My 2015 baby is at 107000 miles, I love it more than any car I'd driven like acura TL, audi Q5, tesla model3,... Prob put in some decent tuning soon

    It looks so nice and clean! Great job. Mine is a Soul Red 2016, Touring+ - nothing special about it. The belt tensioner fails every 50K miles or so; DIY friendly but I never did it myself. Also, keep an eye on the back of the valve cover as they tend to start leaking (high compression engine). I had the colant system flushed at 180k miles as well as the auto- trans fluid replaced, though manufacturer does not recommend. Did the cold air intake improve the performance or gas mileage at all? Thank you.

      So I’m at 176k now. With the belt and tensioner go oem if you haven’t done that already. The aftermarket belts and tensioners don’t seem to last. My valve cover still holding up 😂 the air intake doesn’t do much. Feels better in the higher rpm’s though. It actually sucks in the summer because of the high ambient temperatures. I always revert back to stock airbox in the summer.

      @@cleanwhite6527 Thank you for the tips! Yes, the tensioner has been replaced with aftermarket ones. Nest tiem I'll buy it myself.

      @@Gyasi316 I’m at a 176k miles now and the car is still fun to drive. I recently purchased a 2014 Mercedes E350. I’m looking to do a comparison video soon

      @@cleanwhite6527 I picked up the 14 for 800.00 dollars . The owner had it sitting for like Two years in an apartment complex garage. I towed it out and went on the forums to troubleshoot. It ended up being a relay and fuse that popped . So after new tires and service, I’m now focused on the braking. It stops but squeals when I go in reverse.

    I am probably buying a mazda6 tomorrow and this video with all the links and everything came in clutch, this is the perfect way to mod a daily, make it look nice but nothing out of this world in terms of performance. Its going to be the 2.0 petrol SKYACTIV 148hp but it should be good enough for the UK roads and to travel around Europe :)

    Nice car, looks great. I'm not into modifying much myself, old and practical. But the Mazda 6 is an awesome car. I have a Blue 2017.

    Always liked the mazda 6, but their just slow as hell! The slowest car in their class as a matter of fact. The best interiors in their class, but just way too underpowered!

    Car looks serious man fair play. She is clean as anything 💯 Is that some sort of sway bar mounted on the struts? If so what is it like to drive with and is it worth getting? Thank you.
    I just got myself a 2014 as well except 2.2 Deisel, great car 👌

    • @cleanwhite6527
      @cleanwhite6527  10 місяців тому

      Yeah it’s a strut brace. If I’m being completely honest you won’t notice much difference if any with just driving around town, if you decide to really push the car in corners you’ll notice a difference but I think your biggest difference in handling will come from better tires and suspension setup

    Killer vid bro. Would you recommend the coilovers? Was debating between springs/struts or coilovers but I think coilovers are the way. My only concerns is ride quality and noise.

    • @cleanwhite6527
      @cleanwhite6527  Рік тому

      So for adjustability definitely coil-overs. I have been on coilovers for a couple of years now and really enjoy. Yes there can be some noise from the pillow ball mounts but that’s usually at walking speed. You could co with corksport springs and whatever strut you like. I had bilsteins. It will get you pretty low without being too low.
