- I'm not sure if this is the same Go Do from the session of the 9th but its perhaps one of the purist most beautiful solo renditions of Go Do by Jónsi. Whilst the audio might be the same, the video is new. Thanks to Fidrildi :)

He is hands-down a musical genius. Few live versions are this in-tune and even fewer this beautiful.
This song is a heartbreaking call to arms from an artist I will perhaps never meet, telling me to stop being afraid to write my book.

I'm so happy I found Jonsi's solo album. I'm not a huge Sigur Ros fan. I've heard their music and think its great but I've never owned any albums.
Anyway, I heard Go on spot iffy and fell instantly and madly in love with Jonsi's solo stuff. So gorgeous and ethereal and ghostly. Words don't do his music justice. I've been trying to find everything he's done now. Including backtracking thru SR. Well worth the effort. Sometimes music will come along and lay you out like nothing else!
After all that rambling I'll say I agree with all of you. Him and his music are beautiful. I'll leave it that...

If you watch this closely enough, you'll notice that he never, ever touches the second string on that four-stringed tenor guitar. Yup. Jónsi only needs three strings to make a song. If you watch the Go Quiet version of that song, it's even more clear, because that string is broken, and completely missing from the guitar he's playing.
