Awesome video man love the supercharger kit you made, your other video showed you started with 85whp and ended up with 145whp,60whp increase is a ton of power, try making that with bolt ons. You said the amr500 lasted a year right.
If they had made it possible to add on a oil cooler it would have probably lasted longer.
Nice vídeo! I just bought this supercharger for my 1600 air-cooled engine! Did you find out what kind of bearings it uses? Since I bought it used, it would be nice to install new bearings before any use! Thanks

@@JoniK1 samalla tavalla teet hifienki rakennus pätkiä niin varmasti kasvaa katsoja määrät ku porukka haluaa varmasti oppia miten rakennetaan. 😁
Suurin ongelma on vaan se ettei kukaan kato näitä kokonaan, yleensä vähän alkua ja sitten skipataan suoraan loppuun. Parhaiten katotaan noin 5min videoita. Piti nyt tänkin videon statsit vilkaista, keskiarvo katseluaika 4min. Onneksi Jyrkkä tekee tollasia videoita lähes joka päivä niin ei ite tartte 😃

nakkaa mulle messengeris laakereitten mitat niin käväsen kysyys tuosta yhestä liikkeestä.. sieltä löysin yheen omaanki vekottimista ku muualta ei löytyny :D

Was the timing gear case filled with oil, or just a light coating of oil? Did you remove the oil previously? Industrial blowers have an oil-filled gear case, with an oil change interval specifically for the blower.
Yes there was about 100ml of oil
Is there a way to maybe custom make a set of twin scrolls for this to increase the boost?

what size bearing supercharger amr500?
hi when you buy the amr500 the pulley which is above the original boost how much? I would like to boost 0.5bar which pulley should I take? my engine is a 1.5l
Standard pulley should work fine
Plastic ball cage is the weak link.

AYYYY MY BOII! Nice to see u here! I'm boutta use one of these for my 1/2 ACA Hurricane MKII. I will have it driven at 5,970 rpm to match the 199hz of the ACA hurricane's 3 lobe blower! I did some math and assuming this actually moves 500cc's each revolution, i should be getting 105.4 CFM airflow

How many hours or miles did the previous owner have on the Supercharger? Any idea? How long can they Really last ?? Thanks for videos

Hi! I just bought for my 1.2 ltr engine with 81 hp I have seen many people saying that the noise of the Supercharger is very annoying do you know what to do to reduce it ??maybe using a muffler? And if it is reliable with stock internal? How much hp do you think it will Increase? Also love your videos they inspired me 😋
Place the supercharger after throttle body, it makes the whine a lot quieter. Yes it should work fine with low boost. Horse power depends on boost, with 0.5bar boost you have 1.5x power etc. With same pulley ratio as I have you should see about 140hp 😊
@@JoniK1 now that's exciting I was wondering in doing a a12 Datsun motor has 78hp give or take my goal at least 120hp to keep up with today's traffic the cars only 2100lbs so I'm sure it'll be quick
Where did you buy it?
Is this the supercharger form the Punto? Seems like the flanges are the original ones, not the custom ones you made. Have the bearings fail this quickly?
This is the old one which broke in summer, flanges are taken from new one
@@JoniK1 I'm quite interested in this as I have a Yaris 1.5 that would benefit from it. However, I'm quite scared about the reliability of them. Maybe getting a used Subaru one would be better? What do you say?

Nice video, but if you can help me i have an 1.8 ltr the engine 97 Hp and max RPM is 6000, if i install this AMR 500 will be a good idea or this supercharger cannot supply my engine?

IT SUCKED THE OIL AND THE GEARS RAN DRY I GUESS....THEN IT ATE THE BEARING CAGES ...MAYBE THE OIL LEVEL NEEDS TO BE VERIFIED EVERYTIME
Onko täällä kellää kokemuksia noista kiinan kopio amr500 ahtimista? Alle 150 sais mutta olis mukava jos se vaikka sen vuoden kestäis ajossa 🤔

Tuo on sen verran paskana, että ei kannata korjata enään. Ei maksa vaivaa tuo remontti. Ja jos meinaat vaihtaa vaan toisen päänlaakerit, niin ei sitten ole kovin pitkäikäset. Tuolla on pesät aivan loppu ja roottorit pitäis koneistaa ja vaihtaa uudet hiilikuitu levyt.
Sain tästä videosta pienen korvauksen eli kasaan myös ja sain sen eilen jo tehtyäkin. Joo nuo hajonneet laakerit vaihdoin uusiin. Toisen puolen isompaa laakeria ei valmisteta enää niin jätin toisenkin vaihtamatta. Ne toki tarkistettiin samalla kun hain uudet laakerit ja oli riittävän hyvät. Tiedossa on kyllä ettei tästä uutta vastaavaa tule mutta olihan tämä ostettaessakin jo 20 vuotta vanha 😃
Ja mihinkäs ne kuulat on menneet..ei kait kohti sylintereitä..

Why do you need to modify the gearbox? All it does is keep the lobes of the supercharger in time.

Väärät öljyt tekee tollasta
Oikeat tai ainakin suositellut öljyt tuolla oli sisässä ja kyllähän tuo kohtuu kauan kestikin, näillä kuitenkin ikää se +-20 vuotta. Kokeilin silloin lopuksi kun alkoi pitämään ylimääräistä kolinaan vielä astetta jäykempää öljyä mutta siinä vaiheessa oli laakerit jo hajalla. Ei muuten löydy enää mistään noita kahta ehjää laakeria tai siis samoilla mitoilla, noita hajonneita kyllä saa
@@JoniK1 ei mistään SKF liikkeestä tai jostain tilaamalla sais laakereita
Vuorenmaa Lapua. Jos sieltä ei löydy oikeita laakereita niin sitte niitä ei ole edes valmistettu
