This video shows you how to make the little bird legs that used in my Tilly Bird pattern. You can buy the pattern or my kits in my etsy shop www.etsy.com/uk/shop/AmandaBa...
I have used your basic idea for some much larger feet, and they came out fabulous! Thank you so much for sharing your talent and wonderful ideas with us…
I no longer make my birds or mice (although I keep getting asked about the mice) but I'm really happy to share techniques, there's room for everyone in the making art community x
Thank you, Amanda. Excellent instruction, my little chickadee now has one leg, leg two coming right up. May I make a suggestion for novices like myself? Start with pipe cleaners, they are easy to bend exactly where you want, without even using tools. It makes it easier to keep up with the video and learn the technique. After you get the hang of it, you will be ready to do it with heavier wire. The fuzzy feet are kind of cute, but I suppose they wouldn't support a heavy sculpture.

@@amandabarnesart Two months later...I've made dozens of little birds using your technique for legs with different gauges of wire. Many thanks.

I bought stainless steel once and you are right about needing to be Arnie to bend it. I threw it out
thanks for the video. But, how it will stick to the bird's leg? how to securely attach it?
