Carl Thompson this game is so much better than anything out now. The career mode was simple but interesting. The pride only moves with kicks and knees on the ground. All the different rocked animations. Using signature attacks meant so much more. I forgot you could do doctor stoppages. I used to rock people and then go for submissions, they were so much more effective that way. Or rocking people due to a German suplex. If this was compatible with Xbox One I’d still be playing it.

The grappling in this game, both in the clinch and on the ground, just looks so much more organic and natural than in EA UFC 3. It doesn't look like you're just transitioning between different sets of poses. It actually looks like the characters are wrestling.
I think the most underrated thing about this game is those knockdowns without being rocked. I know EA UFC 3 kind of does it where some knockdowns don't leave you in one of those TKO positions but you still get the flashing health event from it. I love it in this game because it looks like you were just caught off balance and makes it way more realistic in my opinion

And he still competes even now, but mostly, he loses on purpose to up and coming fighters to get them the W and get the L while getting paid big money. He is still loved in Japan and people will still pay copious amounts of money to see him fight. It's good a business I guess lol

Sapp used to be pretty legit, one of the reasons that he fell apart later in his career I feel was because of Cro Cop. Cro Cop shattered Sapp's orbital in a fight and Bob was kinda hesitant from then on, this and what @el cucuy. said are the two reasons he fell from grace
Bob Sapp isn't the worst. the man was smart and knew that getting paid by throwing fights was better than getting hurt and having to pay his own medical bills. Being such a big name in Japan, what he did was genius.
I think the dude could have been way more than he ended up being, I mean he has wins over Ernesto Hoost back to back (yeah the same that bested cro cop once). But he wasn't a prize fighter (and this ain't an insult, fighters aren't normal people to begin with) he is an entertainer at heart, i wish him well
The animations for the clinch and the ground came just looks so much more fluid than UFC 3 they look much more natural are they even can animations I'm not sure like in the Pat Barry fight he denied a clenched and the clinch animation like rolled into the jab animation beautifully I'd love to see things like that in UFC 4

This was my favorite mode on UFC Undisputed 3. Can you ask EA Sports to add an offline mode like this. If they released a mode like this in EA Sports UFC 5, it would take the game to another level. The games are really missing offline modes.
