I have to do a appreciation essay on Pat Sumitt, this breaks my heart. She fought hard for her passion and made a difference in the live of the women she coached. You're a legend Mrs. Pat Summitt and I have learned a lot from all the research I've done. Young women need stern, disciplined coaches like yourself. So glad i chose this wonderfu lady to write an essay about. Rest easy.
I haven't cried in almost eight years, but that streak was just broken. I'm in tears right now. Coach Summitt was a wonderful individual that knew how to win national championships, teach the game of basketball, and inspire many generations of players and fans. A true legend of the game
Watching this almost a year after the passing of this wonderful woman and still can't help but shed a tear. Spectacular person, coach, and role model to so many players and people throughout the country and the world, and her absence is really difficult to grasp. RIP Coach Summitt, there will never be another like you in the world of sports and life in general.
She was a great humanitarian and one hell of a basketball coach our lady vols were dominant during her tenure and it sure isn't the same here in Knoxville with out her.....
Could not watch without tearing up. Over 30 years ago a watched my first Tennessee game on tv. That night your team played Texas and my brother and I had a $1 bet on who would win. I lost that bet, but I became a Coach Summit & Lady Vol fan from that moment on. I am glad I had the opportunity to watch the Lady Vols win a championship in person with my dad. What I cherish the most is having had the opportunity to get Coach Summits autograph a month after my father passed away. I almost didn't go because we were supposed to go together; we had been planning to go to this game well before the season started. The advice she gave me that day sticks with me to this day. She simply told me to remember all the good times I had with my dad. Thank you Coach Summit for being an example of what it means to be a caring human being. May you be at peace! #PatSummit
Watching this again also-my wifes grandmother also battled dimensia & alzhiemers.its the legacy they both left behind &touching countless lives &thinking of others which makes a great person.rest in peace & live on god bless
