Tommy is a cool dude but idk on what planet he thinks pyke is gonna be a good pick if you aren't either snowballing bot really hard and fast, or perma roaming to get other lanes ahead early. Maybe with a draven pick if they have a good matchup they can snowball the lane fast and then he can take over being all over the map on top of a fed draven, otherwise the champion is just garbage post 15 min and you're really on a timer to snowball. its just too squishy for a melee champ to be relevant mid late game. I play it a lot and I love the champ cuz its fun, but it's just not viable at all with all the nerfs and no health gain from items, and also needing high income as a support aka taking kills with ult or else his q and ult will just do 0. it's just too poorly designed of a kit to not be either really op or completely useless, pure feast or famine. maybe with druts akshan idk. champ comes down to just a weaker thresh with a cool execute ult. May as well just take darius top if u want resets. Even worse because of pyke pick and the jungler being a bot the top orn feels he has to build locket and redemption, which turns him from a mega scaling tank into a support income champ so he can't tank for shit either. it's just so cringe man. Then again maybe this is good for the team to at least help aribo understand that his team isn't gonna be going anywhere if he can't play around his better players. nemesis can't play big carries because aribo is gonna ignore mid lane so he's just gonna get camped and die, and you can see what happens with top too. even with orn items they still get blasted.

it's not that benificial, you need everyone to communicate because everyone has info they can give so they can strategize in real time and make a play. plus your midlaner will not shot call what your jungler does in bot since your "designated shotcaller" is not omnipotent and this only works if you have a coach watching the game in real time. like you'd think faker would be the captain/designated shotcaller but this is a team effort everyone has a call. (ignoring the fact neme team has lost games because people are not listening to each other ESPECIALY ARIBO in draft and full clear)

its honestly kind of disturbing if he has elo higher than gold imo cuz I just don't see it. I don't even play league anymore let alone ranked but 100% day 1 would out perform him. That's more a testament to how bad he is than anything else but it's like he literally doesn't have the most basic fundamentals of macro as a jungler, when that's 90% of the job. I'm like literally send me in coach with my sejani and I'll have top lane set up for success before the first dragon spawns and then hover mid and bot while keeping my farm decent, and then back to top when dragons are on cd. It's so stupidly easy when you have good laners too. Like legit drutut is the kind of laner you dream of getting every game where if you give him 2-3 good ganks in the early game he will either take over or hold his own for the rest of the game until you outscale. he even sets up dives understanding exactly how and when to trade so it doesn't even matter if the lane is frozen on your side or not, it's just so free. Watching this random cretin just pissing wins away because he needs to clear every single krug and gromp on spawn is just holy shit man. insufferable is definitely the right word for it lol.
