VHA is committed to a culture of safety, dignity, and respect, for all Veterans. As a whole health institution, VA works to ensure every Veteran knows that they are welcome at VA. VA welcomes all LGBTQ+ Veterans to its facilities to receive high quality, respectful care. This video provides information about VA services and resources developed to ensure that all Veterans receive care that is affirming and inclusive. VA can rely on LBGTQ+ Care Coordinators, who are available at each VA Medical Facility, to help with coordinating care. VA has a zero tolerance policy for harassment and assault. All Veterans deserve to receive care without fear of harassment or judgment. All who served are honored, respected, and welcomed.
