Hi folks, here's the pickling recipe that I used: You can scale it up or down accordingly to the volume/jar size you have; 2 cups of Apple Cider Vinegar, 1 dessert spoon of powdered mustard (optional), 11 Dessert Spoons of Raw Sugar, 1 Dessert Spoon of Salt (flat not heaped), 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper, finely chopped fresh chilli to taste (optional). Add all ingredients to a saucepan, put on a very low heat and warm enough to disolve the sugar - stir continually. Pack your jar full of Garlic Scapes/Flowers, trimming down as necessary and the pour warm liquid over the top to fill the jar as inch or so from the top and making sure the flowers are completely covered. Ours are still good a whole year later, using a Kilner clip down jar with a good seal. 💚✌🌿

Ah great info. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching 💚✌️🌿
I harvested my elephant garlic scapes over the weekend and used it for a stir fry. Yum!
Glad to hear you’ve been enjoying the bonus harvest Nneka 💚✌️🌿
Fantastic little video. Is there a recipe you follow for the pickled garlic scapes or do you literally put them in a jar of apple cider vinegar?
Hi - thanks for watching 🙏 I made up an ACV brine, give me a mo and i'll add the recipe into the video comments. ✌️🌿
Great, thanks so much
