Kato is an excellent choice for a beginner or anyone really. Kato is well made and durable. The track is easy to snap together and will stay together. The engines run great, they can start very slowly and roll out, pick up speed, hang on to the rails and slow to a crawling stop with no jerkin motion. My track and engines are Kato and I've been thinking about buying this set in particular, so thanks for showing it off. The tiny details in Kato engines is unbelievable. Great video, thanks.

Dollar bills and penny rolls are good for size comparison. My O scales are a beast and can only go on my shelf near the ceiling. These would be great for my dream layout that I could never have in O scale for lack of room. Now that they have sound sweetens the deal.
The sleeper has one more window on the bottom and 3 windows for the coach
You can make a rhombus with the track and it will look pretty cool.
Perfect size and infinitely expandable if money is no object. there was a time when made in Japan meant cheap low quality, no more, it seems Japan and Germany stand for top quality engineering. I do wish that they could be built with sound effects option from the factory rather than having to DYI. unless i'm missing something here? also i need my starter set to be Snowpiercer 1001 cars long, please.

This video is pretty nice, you have lots of potential to be a professional reviewer, but I would like to point out some things that you need to work on to make your videos better:
-The music was louder than your voice, which you want it to be quieter than your voice so your viewers can enjoy the music (and the vibe that comes with it) and still clearly hear what you are saying the same time. On clips where you aren't talking, such as the time lapses of assembling, it would be good to make the music full volume, but generally when you are talking, you want your voice to be louder than the music.
-A conclusion and/or an outro. The end of the video was too sudden, and it's usually good to end it gradually with something like "Alright that's the end of this review for now, thanks for watching" and give your overall opinion on it, if you recommend buying it and what group of people you recommend it to (beginners, kids, etc). An outro isn't really needed but makes the video look more professional, and can remind your viewers to check out your channel for more content so you could potentially gain more subscribers and viewers that way.
-You should point out things that are nice, bad, dangerous, and safe about the product, for example a sharp metal piece hidden under packaging or track being hard to put together. People watch these reviews and unboxings to know what to expect when they are considering buying a product, so they want to know these things, but you pointed out more of what's inside and what it comes with, which most people considering buying the product already know. That's good too but including the qualities and dangers of the product will make the video much more useful.

Like your video, I myself is a new to beginner myself. although, I'm trying to decide rather to go with HO or N scale? But like always is the space for a nice track layout. which I don't have. If I don't expand I guess the HO scale will work out. Hope to see more of your video especially when or if you do expand you track layout . Mike from New Mexico-BNSF
