great video... I use the N8N self-hosted. sorry my English I am from Brasil....so continue..... once we fill the api-key and the endpoint we don't get the OpenRouter dropdown of LLm available, its not work in self-hosted version... so Instead we have to go back to the openrouter website and collect some LLm name like ' eva-unit-01/eva-llama-3.33-70b ' , so after that the N8N will recognize... so, every time we need change the LLm we have to go manually and grab the new name and replace it, so it will work....... :) welcome
Why do some models that support tools refuse to use these very tools? That is, they use only vector memory, but do not want to enter the tools. What could be the reason for this?
This is great but I cant get it to authorise with the API key and I put $10 credits but no joy. It picks up the models but wont authorise, any idea? I am self hosting n8n
@@AI-GPTWorkshop I'm self-hosting and I don't have it either. I just tried out the latest 1.71.0 version and neither the "Ask AI" or the ability to connect to the OpenRouter API. I suspect this might be a cloud vs self-hosted thing but I'm not sure. I can see why the "Ask AI" would be behind a paywall, but not the ability to reach that endpoint, so maybe its something else?
@@AI-GPTWorkshop Yes I followed your video but no joy, I eventually got it working by first adding the API key , it says not authorised. I saved and closed it. Then added the URL and it works, still says unauthorised so I think its a bug. I looked on my dashboard in openrouter and it is charging me so for now it is working.
@@Zheroz00 yes same to me... i have self hosted also and its not work like a video once we put the credentiales it connect but not show the list of llm
Open router is a good alternative. Just be aware it charges somewhere about 3% transaction fees when topping up credits.
yah Stripe charges that everywhere

ah interesting. I will do some research on this
This is amazing, thank you so much for the information, it's of great value
Thanks, I'm glad you found it useful!
thanks for such a great video, is this available also for the embeddings or only for chat models?
thanks for the great info, is this available with embedding or just work with chat models only?
do you have another way of getting your workflows? not interseted in joining the skool paltform.

I'm hoping "add tool" will be an MCP Server soon?
When creating credentials, its saying my OpenRouter API Key is unauthorized. How do authorize the API Key?
Tem que atualizar a versão do N8N. Se mais alguém conseguiu resolver com essa minha dica, dê um joia.
sir, will there be any demand in the future for this skill and will any company provide jobs for this role at now or in the future .
of course
thanks so much for this website, but could u please tell me the difference between it with Hugging Face
thanks so much
Do you know anything about the speed of the API with OpenRouter? Is it the same as the original API or is it slower?
that's a good question. I think it's the same
Do you know how to give choice to user, what LLM to use via OpenRouter node? Not just one that you chose
no you can't control that
maybe you can try passing the model as an object and in the open ai node, use it with the expression input field instead of the fixed input field
Is there anyone interested in having a community in Queens, NY, to build on. The knowledge of these Ai app weekly?
isnt it same as langflow
I don't understand. My openrouter API key does not work with n8n. It says "couldn't connect with these settings. I tried everything.
did you follow the video step by step?
@@AI-GPTWorkshop yes, but its not working!
N8N starter account is free x 14 days, but then it's $24/month. Am I seeing that right? Or perhaps I'm missing some other free account offering?
Take a look at self hosting it if you can. Currently running like a charm on my own server
yah there are several options for self hosting. Watch my other videos
Still getting an "Unauthorized" message after entering the API Key even after putting credits on.

Olá amigo você poderia ativar a dublagem nesse vídeo ?
Just add openweb ui api to use it and it will be perfect (see Cole Medin n8n pipeline)
yup working on something like that right now
