Is the Bronco Sport Any Good Even if It’s NOT a Bronco?- 2024 Ford Bronco Sport Review

  • Certain names in the car world are considered sacred by many. Names like Corvette, Mustang, or even Bronco. And much like what we saw when Ford introduced an electric SUV that they called a Mustang, many people are upset that Ford took another iconic name, the Bronco, and slapped it on what is essentially a Ford Escape.
    Regardless of the name, we're here this week to find out if the new Ford Bronco Sport is something worth your hard earned dollars.

    My peek blue LTD is great... Had it over a year now. It is what it is.... It's a cool looking sub compact. Mine is a rare find peek blue LTD model, tricked out with every option. Probably not necessary to go all out but.... the 2.0 turbo motor is darned fast in sport mode. Adaptive self drive is very helpful. Gas mileage could be better at 23 combined. Road / wind / tire noise in cabin is reasonable. It's perfect for moderate off-roading, and to work / beach / weekend gataways and back. But I wouldn't want to drive it cross country. I'm sure their are more comfortable sub compacts out there.... I own it because it looks cool and it's fun to drive. Feels bigger behind the wheel than how it appears. Backseat is on the small side. Not exactly a family car for that reason. Front seat is pretty good, but if your a big guy, i'd probably tell you to pass.... Getting the 1.5 liter version engine won't be as fun or capable, but is probably more practical and ecomnomic and good enough.... Things I'd change???? Give me a automatic lift gate....

    Nice video ! I toured the Coors factory back in 1988 after HS graduation in Pennsylvania. Anyway, i think the B S would suit alot of folks needs....a little better option in places that experience a few solid months of winter driving. My commute is about an hour (50 miles) and this would be great as a year round option that could handle those few times the roads are dicey but you need to get to work. BIG negative tho, no wireless android auto.

      No, the Explorer is much larger. As Kurt said it's based on the Escape.

    You had your front seat so far back for seemingly no reason at the beginning. I'm 6 feet and I'm nowhere near as far back as you. Def not one inch difference

    I drove one before. I didn't like how huge the hood was. Seemed to make it hard to see. Came to see if the mtb fits. :)

    Fantastic example of a Bronco sport....if you can find one, This is NOT a 2024 model. They only made this LTD in yellowstone in 2023. But overall, you never mentioned the 360 adaptive cruise control, lane assist, cell phone charging pad, dual climate control, side view mirror warning, sunroof,....Basically, this LTD is fully loaded with every option!!! And the guys saying it's not a real Bronco are usually in their 50s and 60s... Thanks for posting

      In My mid 50's & you're right it's not a real Bronco.......it's a real Bronco Sport. Still think it's a cool lil crossover tho. If you have one, how's it been for you ? Thinking of buying one myself.

      @@jdmoney1000 thanks for the good info ! I'm big-ish so maybe not ideal but I'm a truck guy but don't wanna drive my truck 100 miles a day to/from work. No Bluetooth tho right ?

      @jdmoney1000 4 місяці тому

      Well, yeah, you might have to plug a wire from your phone into the car, but I don’t really use that anyway. You are able to bluetooth your phone and all of your contacts for voice activated, phone calling and such… My advice would be to go try and find one that you can rent for a few days to get a feel for it to make sure before you buy…

      @@jdmoney1000 absolutely thought the same thing. Worried a lil bit about the 1.5 engine (heritage ed) too. Good luck with yours staying great for ya, thanks again !
