I watched this video and actually rebuilt this house but I made a bunch of changes to my liking. I still did the sunken terrain and leveling all the floors as I built. Then when I moved my sims into it, one of them passed through the back door and noticed that they shrunk... any clue as to why this happens? Thanks!

First time using pc for builds well a laptop and its laggy because its a crap hp but i got it on pc for the building aspects are far beyond console and expansions etc. anyways are you adjusting the height of you walls with the terrain tool?

do you mean the ones that he places at 12:46?it's in the base game, and it's cheat. open the cheat window and type in testingcheatsenabled true, then type in buydebug, and you should have a new function category called debug, and there in there.
sorry for butting in, but i recomend Moveobjects on. he uses the cheat alot, so he can make furniture move wherever he wants it to. but I should warn you if you move a piece of furniture somewhere (misplaced) then sims may not be able to access it!! :)

when your building a pool or fountain i want to make the corners curved but i can only do it for one corner right now because i dont know how to turn the corners a different way. Can anyone help me please?

That wood is actually in the recolouring menu when you select the material wood, it will be in there. It's my favourite for flooring :)
My houses are basically a bunch of boxes and rectangles with a little paint and furniture thrown in

@PsycheeD They're "fake" lights that don't show up in live mode. You have to type "testingcheatsenabled true" and then "buydebug on" to find them.

Those lights dont come from any stuff or expansion pack, they are custom content, i have used them before
