like to thank you for all of the great shows during this time when we need happiness and light in our lives be safe wash your hands star trek forever and potemkin1711 even longer thanks
The films we've released this year were shot in 2018 and 2019. We have three remaining in post-production, and we continue working on getting them ready for release. We appreciate the love and concern so many of you have shown for all of us. To everyone (fans, friends, and family): stay safe, stay well.
Super Production by all of you, loved the story and it's portrayal, including behind the scenes and after filming beyond sight where it's put together by a crew, great job to all, thank you for your love of Star Trek and sharing it
Really fun! Super Nice camera angles! Great, great sets! Awesome! Little thing, I would recommend improved posture of actors, learned from the years of standing at attention in their Starfleet careers. Great job, very much enjoy it! 👍👍👍 Another super way your pace of speaking is clear and decisive. 👏👏👏 thank you all!
Enjoyed the episode with an interesting story line and wonderful actor and good CGI. Certainly an interesting life form but extremely dangerous. Although Captain Gabriel laments the loss of alien life, they really bad no choice. Even in the 23rd century, survival is still instinctive.
That's a fine job of compositing from Rick Foxx using Basill's excellent digital artwork from starstation.wordpress.com/tag/phobos. This production was running long, so a number of credits were skipped this time.
She, Captain Privette, is a great captain. Even though she knew she had no choice, she really felt for those 100 lives she killed. This is the mark of a great leader. Feeling for the people you have to kill or send to their death, even if some of them are the enemy. She lives the Federation ideal of peace, cooperation and peaceful coexistence. Thanks so much for sharing. This was a good one.
Fantastic, what a GREAT episode! 2 questions/issues: 1) I thought the Curie had 3 warp nacelles; 2) Such a shame to have to resolve that wonderful plot in only 15 minutes. A 2 parter/cliffhanger, with the Captain appearing to be the last holdout and just about to be assimilated.... (then fade to black), would have been great! Or even having the Captain and entire crew assimilated and determined to take over other ships! Whoo Eee!
No, the Marie Curie is a small vessel with two engines. It was designed by Hand of Manos at DeviantArt (used with permission) and created as a 3D model by David Metletsits. There's another Marie Curie production in the works right now. As far as the length, this film ended up nearly a minute long so that the story would be complete. I think that much longer, especially another 14 mins longer, could cause the story to drag and necessitate a B plot, something there's no longer time for. But I'm glad you enjoyed it!
@@Potemkin1711 I was confusing it with the Pasteur in All Good Things (Not necessarily the shuttlecraft Curie). And you're right! Expect the CBS/Paramount officials to censure that extra minute!😉 (Oh, and the Hand of Manos?? literally, the Hand of hand!)
AWESOME EPISODE AS ALWAYS, LOVE THE CAPTAIN AND CREW, THE GENTLEMAN IN BLACK, WHO I BELIEVE PLAYS MAYBE CHIEF OF SECURITY, STANDING GUARD OUTSIDE OF THE MEDICAL SICKBAY ANYONE EVER SAID HE IS THE SPITTING IMAGE OF THE ONE GENT THERE IN BREAD AND CIRCUSES WHO ADMIRED KIRK FOR BEING AN ACTUAL MAN ABOUT THINGS!!!GARY BAILEY KING OF DARKNESS
THANKS FOR READING MY COMMENT SO QUICKLY, AND LOVE THE LITTLE PICTURE AND HEART, MY COMMENTS WERE SENT WITH LOVE, AS WELL AS YOUR WONDERFUL SHOWS ARE ACTED OUT WITH EVEN MORE LOVE. When Drogo went to the bridge to escort the captain back to sickbay, Harper noticed his crystal, grabbed the ensign and ducked into the VIP lounge. You'll see a frame or two of them coming back into the corridor latter.
Actually, that's a Naucrate-class ship, a small hospital/ambulance ship recently developed (circa 2298) from Starfleet. HandofManos at DeviantArt did the design, and David Metlesits created the model. A number of our VFX artists have brought the Marie Curie to life.
Thank you so much for making this. 1000 times better than Alex Kurtzman's ST:D! Excellent story!

This episode reminds me of a quote by Ben Franklin that if you choose security over liberty, you will have neither.
Very much so, yes.

the best kind of Trek - you guys never disappoint!
Good job. Especially impressed with the acting and the story.
Great episode. Love the woodwork in your conferance room( starfleet icon).

Very nicely done! Loved it!

Captain Gabriel, I get all our captains mixed up myself. They're all pretty and talented.
Awesome job by all involved
great job

@@andytay5507 Hand of Manos is the title of a really bad horror movie, once spoofed by MST3K.
@@Potemkin1711 Glad I missed it. Does MST3K still exist?
As reruns on MeTV and a Netflix series.
Awesome.
You paid a lot of attention to detail. The moving star field from inside the shuttlecraft. Amazing as always. Great job guys.
Thanks! Rick Foxx did a great job bringing our shuttlecoupe to life.
Great video!
Belting job -- more please

I have a question. How did Harper and the Ensign figure out what was going on? Where they attacked and managed to get away?
Harper was in line to be crystal-ized. He grabbed the kid and the two of them took off.
When Drogo went to the bridge to escort the captain back to sickbay, Harper noticed his crystal, grabbed the ensign and ducked into the VIP lounge. You'll see a frame or two of them coming back into the corridor latter.
That medical ship is Daedelus class, right?

Looks to be about 60-70m long in the first video where we can see 7 decks and do a height to length approximation. Thats a tiny ship.
i'm first and this is number 1 good job trekkers
