  • Two ROCK Fans REACT to UGH - BTS Rap Line
Ugh in Korean means to lose one’s temper because of sudden, explosive anger (often over trivial things); in English it is used when someone is angry or frustrated
The song addresses haters who anonymously spread malicious hate and anger against others, especially when it can cause significant harm. At the same time, it is lamenting the fact that anger is being wasted on trivial things rather than to protest against serious issues to help make the world a better place.

BTS RAP Line is no joke. They've written meaningful raps and songs from even before their debut. They don't just Rap, they 3 write and perform the rap. And it's no bullshit. They are well read, intelligent who understand the society and the world. They aren't just handed down raps written by someone. Love the Rap line 💜

The song Strange by Suga/AgustD & RM really dives deeply into the polarization of society issue. It’s something they’ve called out for a long time. We can learn so much as they speak up about deeply important issues and the fact the song is such an incredible banger is just even more why we love them. One of my favorites.

The journey of BTS all these years are so inspiring that their experience and their music which consists of their experiences have and will always be motivating to those who have lost hope in their life regardless of age, race, religion and many others. Their music is what makes the people believe in themselves and confidence in oneself.
I always feel disgusted at those people where they comment really trashy stuffs with their nuisance and senseless comments without even realizing how much they are damaging the people who they comment lose their confidence. And due to such thoughtless statements, many of my favourite idols have taken their own lives which angers me very much. I believe that encouragment always makes a human being motivated regardless of what their situation or age is. And this what BTS does for the people and thats why people love them. Spring Day , Spinebreaker, Baepsae (Silver spoon) are some of their social related songs.

24:09 they are all super soft and emotional. It's not at all mostly j-hope, he's the most easily scared though but also therefore one of the bravest because he never backs down from things even though he is scared which is being brave. Doing things if you're not afraid isn't to be brave.
One of the things that makes people truly strong is being able to be and show emotions and doing things even though you are scared. That is cool and true strength/bravery.
I think the world and very much the US has this weird picture of that being hard and brave is to not be emotional especially when it comes to men which is so ridiculous. There is nothing that comes off as weaker than macho men acting like nothing gets to them etc. that looks weak and/or psychopathic.
And it's SUGA that does the high pitch inflections while rapping, but maybe you meant j-hope does high pitch screams when scared? IDK but anyways, all of BTS are very emotional and soft and in touch with their emotions and not afraid of showing weaknesses. That's true hard/brave and strong people.
And I don't see it as switching on and off characters.
If you met me I might come off as soft or as typical very strong, brave, cold etc., it depends on situation and my emotional state that day.
I've gotten into fights and like once alone left at a biker club with a huge dude middle boss person who flew at me and started fighting and do not think I backed down a f-ing bit and he ended up backing off and I have grown up listening to punk and metal a lot and that is also how I dress, that is me all 100%, not a persona, just how I react and feel comfortable but I am way more emotional and caring and soft too than lots of my friends that you would think is softer by the way they come off. And that soft side of me is also 100% me and always there too.
My point is that one thing doesn't cancel out the other. We are not two dimensional badly written shallow characters. We are multi facetted.
Yes I will f you up if you go after someone I care about, I will also never bother to care if you try and start a fight or act like you are better than me, like I avoid fights and think fighting is ridiculous and weak because you can just talk calmly instead of coming at someone physically, I will also get teary eyed because someone does something nice and cry watching movies or listening to certain songs etc. and so on and on. It's not contradicting things.
    Humans are multifaceted.

Just wanted to mention that one of the more reliable lyrics video channels for BTS is DIAL 6137.
Also, all three rappers are softies, Suga in particular is a very emotional and sentimental guy. Don't let his stage persona and aloofness fool you. You'll see them all cry many more times, they really don't have a shred of toxic masculinity and we love to see that.

This is the reason why it’s important to watch the explanation videos for some of their songs to understand the lyrics of their songs. For me it’s been a journey of relearning my Korean side. @@DANDJREACT No, my stupid 10 year old self decided to stop speaking in Korean so I could learn to speak English faster. I’ll never forget that afternoon after school going to my mom said to her that I decided to stop speaking in Korean and that she could talk to me in Korean but I will only speak English. I was the only Asian in a school that consisted 99.9 % white. I also started in the 2nd grade because of the language barrier so I felt extremely embarrassed and ashamed. I wanted normalcy and acceptance so badly and made that regrettable decision. I did develop my passion for reading though, I gobbled up as many books as possible. I was lucky to go to a school where classmates and teachers were nice and supportive. After second grade I was able to skip the third and fifth grades. In middle school I was asked if I wanted to skip the ninth grade but I said “no “ as I made really good friends who are still my friends today. My mother has Alzheimer’s disease and unfortunately she has regressed to speaking Korean only. Fortunately if she put a word or two of English I can understand the gist of what she is saying. Thank you for asking your question.

A lot of celebrities have a different persona onstage than off. Michael Jackson for example said the stage is where he felt the most comfortable and he was a larger than life entertainer, but offstage he was very shy and would even get embarrassed when people would ask him to dance as if he didn't think he was that good of a dancer. I just think when you are onstage with thousands of people screaming and singing along to your songs you just feel completely free and loved so your behavior changes.

Thank you for checking out the explanation and appreciating the song for what it was meant to be. Most of BTS songs are meaningful and has a lot of underlying meanings where you need both research and explanation to understand fully and appreciate it. They educate and teach you to think and feel more without realizing from a song. When you become an ARMY, you turn into natural thinkers and Easter Eggs Hunters!😄 With BTS, you get so much from a song than just a catchy beat. Aside from resonating with their music, we ARMY can't help but fall in love with these amazingly talented, brave, 7 individuals because they are so humble and relatable as humans. Like you said and millions who have been to their concerts or seen their live performances have witnessed, when BTS goes on stage or performs, they always try their best to give their all for their fans. So far, I believe they have never taken or will ever take ARMY's love for granted and always try their best to be grounded. For better understanding, hope you continue to watch the explanation videos where needed as you make your BTS journey. We, ARMY love watching it together with newbies. What are you haters get to say? These boys can rap hard n meaningful not with anger. Yeah anger is a waste. yet rap line of BTS write these lyrics with all these meaningful contents with no direct finger pointing but implied so cleverly that even the haters would not even understand the songs is about their brainless act. some of their rap songs of cos are talking about their hardship, depressions but they always bring the message of let's be strong to fight it and love yourself.

Another great double feature would be their track BAEPSAE. Add on the DKDKTV explanation.
It is pretty amazing that this was from 2015 as this is a political track and you have to remember, it is brave for the young to speak out in Korea.
I love your reactions more and more. BTS do have 'bops' but many of their tracks are truth, relatable and inspiring.💜

6:33 - ABSOLUTELY! I'm a 63 yr old ARMY. I will not listen to western rappers (maybe 1 or 2) cuz they just spout trash! I have never been a fan of rap until I heard the rap line in BTS rap. They are saying something!!!!

Yeah, tbh, this Biden admin did a "wonderful" job dividing US society with all kinds of issues. In my opinion, Trump needs to get back in office, Im just watching from outside US and its quite transparent what the agenda this administration has.

I agree. However unfortunately a lot of people just hate trump, sometimes without even knowing why and sometimes it is the false news that a lot of media project or try and taint Trumps image…As for Biden I personally don’t think he is the one making decisions, he is just a puppet for whomever. Biden just doesn’t seem all their which a part of me feel bad that people are using him when you clearly can tell he isn’t all their….However before Biden was as even elected my parents and I have saying that he is just going to end up being a puppet because he isn’t all their. It is sad that people voted for him just because they didn’t like Trump, without realizing the consequences…
