My team arrived on Day 6, the same day this video was made. We have now been on-location in Tacloban ever since. We have housed a total of 175 volunteers coming from all over the world. I personally retrieved 54 fatalities in my first 9 days on location. That was just the beginning. We're building houses now and many other things.

my bestfriend lives in tacloban when the typhoon hit, he was last seen carrying his backpack and trying to escape... he was never seen again... some volunteers able to retrieve is his backpack with clothes and some identifications... he was presumed dead... today is his birthday (SEPT-17)..

just seeing her face you can feel the pain. i hope she will get counsel. its true the wounds will be healed but the memory of that 6 days is like going to be a recording..playing it over and over again in the mind. i pray for your recovery rebecca.
I couldn't even come close to imagining what that's like. Gave me chills to to look at the face of such a destroyed human being. If there is such thing as recovering from something like that, I hope she does.
Her soul is so broken. I pray that girl is now okay and healing.

I felt so sorry for the girl........
It is the day after Typhoon Rai. I came across this video searching for information on yesterday’s catastrophic event. I live in the US but my wife and 13 year old daughter live in Maasin City. I began to sob while reading this story because just hours earlier my wife and daughter were texting me that the roof of the church they were taking shelter in had blown off. The concrete walls had begun shaking and they thought the building was about to collapse. The feeling of despair was overwhelming. By some miracle I was spared the life altering trauma that you have been subjected to. It would be inaccurate to say that I understand what you have gone through, the magnitude of this tragedy is difficult if not impossible to comprehend. All I can really say is that I’m sorry for what you have endured. I hope and pray for your recovery and that someday you find peace.
Seeing her tears falling down her chicks without realizing it makes my heart broke for her shes so devastated

It's 2021, and this video came to my screen. I wonder what has happened to Rebecca? Where is she now?
My parents live in Tabontabon, about an hour's drive from Tacloban. Nine days after the super typhoon struck, I flew over to fetch them from our typhoon-battered house, where they both stayed despite the destruction all around, and brought them to the safety of Metro Manila - at least until the poor beaten house was repaired and restored.
I pray that Rebecca is safe and doing well at present, considering this terrible pandemic. God bless all who helped her, and all who helped us, Leyteños, in our nightmarish distress and desolation! Mabuhay po kayong lahat!

Dude She don't have cancer. Her hair were cut down to prevent the wounds on her head to get infected by her hair. You can see In the video that a nurse is actually shaving her head so that they can dress her wound on her scalp.
