Awesome talk. Per your comment @ 56:40 “bow arm raises to top of target”, does this also apply if your shooting top vs bottom? Unfortunately, because I practice shooting a low target at home I find it easier shooting bottom which means I need to vary my home practice. We have to switch between top and bottom at league between 5 ends. I also recently found that rest, diet and hydration has helped me the most to prep for league night. I am more shaky if I miss all my meals due to a busy work day and having a PB&J an hr before evening league helps a lot and definitely no caffeine of any type. I’m curious to see what you guys do to prep for practice or tournaments when it comes to diet. Thanks again. You guys are such an amazing resource for all things barebow.
If the front shoulder is up, a shooter will have a more difficult time raising their bow. The shoulder must be low and level throughout the shot process until the shot is finished.
Are you referring to the pic of John here or what? Both John and Grayson shoot with shoulders evenly engaged. If front should is up and other isn’t yes it creates issues but more compound than Barebow. No one advised putting front shoulder up.

Thanks for posting this. I wouldn't have picked the 4PM line if I had known you were doing this.
