  • American Tommy Moe caused a bit of an upset on piste Olympiabakken in 1994 Winter Olympic Games. Norway's Kjetil-Andre Aamodt was a home favorite - he blasted down the course just before Moe and set the best time. But Moe skied the run of his life and defeated Aamodt by just 0.04 seconds

    I remember he won on his birthday and a Norwegian couple presented him with a birthday cake.Tommy's Grandfather was from Norway.The original name had been Moen I think ( like the famous company ).

    I remember when he won, America AND Norway were happy for him!🇺🇸
