  • Today I'm joined by @RickHanson to explore how we can get back in touch with the person we were when we were young. And, alongside that, how we can rediscover our “true nature:” who we were before the world got in the way.

One thing my therapist asks me that is simple yet impactful is "what do I want". At first it was difficult for me to answer that question but after practicing it has become easier. I use it in a lot of situations and I think it helps me get closer to my wants and needs as a child. It feels right

We're the same age and a lot of the things you want to reclaim such as being more relaxed, emotionally open and expressive are things that I also struggle to reclaim.
