Not sure if anyone else has said this, but if you use the flame thrower on a chicken it will cook the chicken while it stands before you! sometimes even burning the chicken . It’s crazy, I just saw this and thought I would comment 😂
I havent watched all of your videos but its been great. I attempted to start a new game tonight after the update and as soon as i popped, i heard a bear than got killed. What a way to start.

According to the dev, the old map is being worked on and will be fully playable in a future update, but you really shouldn't expect too much in the way of loot. Many of the POIs' are now a work in progress, so probably best to stay away from it until he gets it sorted.
Months back on the test branch, I went to old area (thru tunnel like you) and had similar loading issue but looked it up and there was a fix in the settings that corrected the surrounding area (and tables popped in, etc)
Reminder I think you have to "push" the church door open. And remember the "Old West Town" always had loading problems so for the devs to "transition" players there first might not be the best idea just my opinion🤔.
@@lasjakil yeah I watched many players on UA-cam get stuck there because they didn't know that. For some odd reason that's the only door in the game that does that I think.
If you unhook the camper from the truck before you close the game (before any save), the stuff doesn't sink into it. I've used the method for several days now and it's working. I think the same goes for saving/logging in when you are away from the camper, but I haven't tested that.
I deleted my game and reinstalled it and both my old save from quite some time ago and my recent saves were both still there. My old save was on the old map and when I loaded it my truck was gone but the lockers with my stuff were floating where my truck was and one of the small cabins I built was gone but the bed and stuff was floating where the cabin used to be. I built a little base just outside the old mine. Most of my stuff was all still there. The survivors I saved were gone my truck was gone and one of the cabins were gone but a couple other cabins were still there lockers still where the truck used to be but because my truck was gone and I was a ways away from anything I didn't continue playing on that save so I don't know about the loot or anything. The point is you still have your saves even if you deleted the game and reinstalled it. At least that was my experience.
You don't need to burn the big hearts unless they are beating. I still play on the beta version but when I went to the other side of the map before the big update it was kind of boring. I just took some things from that side, like furniture that they don't have on the other side. That's how I got the bunk bed with the storage up top.
That map has very little loot and no enemies at all. Otherwise the other map is stable after re-download. There are a few hidden places unmarked also. I see you didn't build the fire barrel up top for cooking in the mobile base. I can tell you from 7 hours of play (restarts and all) that it is 100% stable and works perfectly for cooking and rendering fat. I put it where your smaller lockers are. Beside the still and water purifier. Haven't managed to put the sawmill up there. I put a forge near the mines in the bigger building across from it and put walls and doors from the new menu to enclose that building. There is a soda machine in it. (UNSURE WHEN THEY RESTOCK). The chickens are interesting. Other than those few things, no clue of what other things that can be done.
Enjoying a few vodka's🤪 after a hard week at work on a rainy London Friday night and it didn't take 2mns of watching Kage to make me laugh like a drunken monkey as he proved the " sliding " was real. Love watching Kage play this game balls out unafraid and undaunted💪. When I play Mist🤡, I run around like a scared rabbit making sure I am always 2mns away from a safe hiding place.
Where did you get your verssion of the game and why is your map so much bigger and more detailed than mine? I'm running 5.2.2. It's excessively boring now. I don't even know where to get patches.
BTW i think at somepoint whenever the Boss is back you will have to go through there kill it to grab a Key since he was probably Security and the other way will be blocked so you have to take out the Enemy but you might be able to destroy it from the other side just my Thoughts about it
My map isn't done, the first town was just like yours, if you go to far you will just keep falling, so definitely save before. The old towns are floating everywhere. It's definitely not playable
Not going to read all the replies but, after re-installing the program and DELETING the new/old saved games, I figured out that I could have kept them. I started new when it went out of devtest but, I had things that were wonky. I will sat that you should reset your control settings the set them up how you like it. I was unable to use 4 of my 6 hot bar items which is why I did the uninstall to begin with. Other than you maybe having to actually fix the truck, everything else should be the same.
im still using my map from the Dev Test i think what he was talking about was for the people that stay on Default Branch with the new Saves but i could be wrong because the Dev also said reinstall the game

Hi Kage, I play on the Bata branch, I found no other survivors nor a dog and only found 2 bandit camps on the map, I have killed 3 bosses and nothing and my stuff go's missing every time i play, its annoying
Hey kage last season the RPG was unlootable and you had to give yourself the RPG look at the update that the RPG came in but it my be lootable now but idk
The dev said if you revert to that version you can play them. However, people in the forums said it doesn't work. I don't know if they actually reverted their game though. I tried loading old saves without reverting and they are messed up. Buildings not appearing, leaving items floating in air. I have not tried reverting to see if that works. I want to play 6.

i had the same issue with things sliding figured out its the surface you're putting it on isn't flat.
Thanks for fully exploring the tunnel complex. I was too scared to, so far! I expect a boss will be put there soon.

I was about to come and say I remember having to just walk into the church doors and they opened like saloon doors

Yes, you can find your saved games and save them to a backup location, then restore them to your saved files inside the game.
They should have you place explosives and blow that blockage in the tunnel up so you can drive thru it back and forth

I switched to the stable game update and did still have my saved game but for some reason all the controls were turn off had to remap all the buttons.
