I have that same nozzle and it works better than most. I have also used those side insulation pieces, i use them with tha side accordion pieces. Its mostly to keep the intense heat out and does help some with sound. I follow up with cardboard or plexi to finish covering the area and keep out the majority of heat and noise.
i wish i had seen this video before i cleaned my ac. after i cleaned it i layed it on its side at 90 degree angle and sure enought now it works but no cold air. any ideas how to fix it ?
Good question, there is no wait time unless a, you tipped the AC on its side or B, you got some water on electronics and it needs to dry before plugging in
These Haiers are great units but my 10k btu is even worse design for removing condensation from the front. its a pinhole at the very bottom of the foam underneath the fan, then it drips down into a tiny canal about 4 inches in length that then empties into the tray. These we're kind of the last ones that still use traditional water drainage in the back instead of recycling and blowing it on the coil like you demonstrated in your video with the GE.
@HandymanHertz hey everyone if u have a Haier All these models have the pinhole drainage design under front fan: ESA406K ESA406K-L ESA406K-T ESA408K ESA408K-L ESA408K-T ESA410K ESA410K-L ESA410K-T ESA412K ESA412K-L ESA410K-E
i have a fredrich ac that goes into my wall instead of my window and i have bugs getting into my bedroom through it. How do i stop that and would i have to pull it from th ewall to clean it
I've not had this issue so I'm not sure. It's pretty much sealed off from the outside/inside it seems. Mariner they are coming through the home in the wall on the outside? You can clean this the "lazy but still effective way" which I have a video on. No taking it out needed.
Look for a general handyman service. They would probably do this cleaning. You could also ask for recommendations on who to hire on local Facebook groups or Nextdoor App, if you use that.
I've got a question my window unit is dripping on the outside in the middle of my window seel I toke the plug out and water poured out of it but the plug is under my ac unit to the right and of course on top of window seal I've tried to tilt it back more but can't or it won't then b held by the top of my window any suggestions I'd really appreciate it greatly ?
Thank you for sharing all of this 🙏 ❤️ 🎉😊
Please buy that insulation piece I would love to see 🎉🎉

Thank you👍🏻
How long does this cleaning last before u have to do it again
Is it ok to spray lithium grease on the motor shafts to help grease the bearings?
I don't see why not. Idk how much they will help, but I don't think it would hurt any.
Is there a wait time for after deep cleaning it to then use/plug in the air conditioner?

Year right, not the best design. That little channel seems easy to plug.

How long did you wait to use it?
You can use it right away.
is this a 5000 btu unit ?
8000 BTU unit I believe
How do I find someone near me in the new Orleans area that can do this for me?
I'm not sure, maybe someone else here can input on this.
