It just sounds like a corrupt masterpiece. You are fighting Lyon who is corrupt beyond redemption either willingly or under control of the demon King. The fact that you are fighting almost all monsters in the mape also adds to the theming along with the fact that you could say Lyon has become a monster himself.
I would hope they either remove the attack music in a potential remake or make a new attack theme that fits better for this map. Because it made me wanna turn attack animations off towards the end.
Oxithotten Wasn’t Awakening what introduced that trend, though? That aside, I think a Remake of SS will still have the attack music, but won’t have it play for this chapter.
Exirion yep, it started in awakening and has been in every FE since except Heroes, if that even counts, and Echoes. Both I feel are ill served not having it, as the clunky music transitions always break immersion. The exception is radiant dawn for me, where I felt the music on either side was good enough to make me almost not care about the sudden transitions, although even then I tend to prefer some of the stronger rain/thunder tracks
Eirika's Route: Lyon made Magvel fell intro despair because he was in love with her. Ephraim's Route: Lyon made Magvel fell intro despair because he was in love with him. Wait, what?
the game's plot is sooooo incredible and perfect with music to fit its dark atmosphere... but having seth makes the game too easy and unenjoyable playing-wise. I hope this game gets remade after fe4/fe5 remake because then both of my dreams would come true. Also can't wait for this to be remade. btw isn't the song title based off of the Bible's promised land?
Seth isn't the only broken unit. Franz, Ephraim, and Cormag all start very strong and only get stronger. Vanessa and Tana are slightly squishy at first, but they become unstoppable after a few level ups as well. Everyone else feels mostly ok. They are good but hard to train (kids, L'Arachel), or mostly balanced. Enemies are definitely to weak though.
@@whichDude I know, I used a lot of units and they all were good and fun to use, but seth was so stupid to the point where if anything else failed he was the plan, and it worked. The problem isn't that everyone else is weak, it's that Seth's margin is so big it's not even funny. Literally nothing in game can get even close to how consistently powerful he is (besides maybe orson, but that was actually kind of good game design).
@@kennethzheng3735 But…Orson betrays the party in chapter 8, and you kill him in chapter 16 to promote Eirika/Ephraim, and the get the Renais Sacred Twins.
I warp-skipped this chapter lol, I didn't want to bother with the draco zombies. I warped my Rng-blessed Amelia and my Ephraim towards Lyon, Amelia killed the skeleton and Ephraim attacked Lyon, putting him at about half HP. Ephraim was obviously really hurt after Lyon so I used Latona and then Lyon was the first to attack Ephraim on enemy phase and then he died. I'll probably play the chapter properly when I do Eirika route tho.
It's a pity that they didn't use this and twisted shadows a for the lagdou ruins since it would have been fitting for that area, and excluding the sound test feature you only hear this and twisted shadows a once.
One of the best map themes in the entire franchise.

When your Favorite part about this is The remnence ABOUT stuff like this...
Is Somthing wrong...?
2022 still my favorite theme
One of the best features themes. Makes me feel bad for Lyon and the twins too having to fight an old friend
"Lyon...I hope you're watching.
I will defeat the Demon King."
This very quote. Gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it.
Just randomly thought of this theme suddenly, and here I am. You know a piece of media has a good OST when this happens.
Honestly surprised that this wasn't extended yet, TBH. Easily one of my favourite tracks from the game.
Really didn’t expect to see you here
I wish from the darkness had an extension
You have no idea how long I've wanted this. Thank you
Finally an extended version. Thank you
FE8 remake when
I hope that too :)
I want a remake of fe6 7 and 8
When the world acknowledges how goated fe 8 is.
no need to remake a very good game
When you'll be enough smart to know remake are crap and made Only for cash

well, now that three houses introduced the whole rain and thunder thing with the music, that *could* be a thing when they inevitably remake this game

I think they should do what they did with Echoes, explore the ruins and reply the last mission (both parts).
Unfortunately you wouldn't be able to turn off enemy phase music, which Fates started.
This is surprisingly good at double speed.
Eirika's Route: Lyon made Magvel fell intro despair because he was in love with her.
Ephraim's Route: Lyon made Magvel fell intro despair because he was in love with him.
Wait, what?
What zero sex does to a mf
So true.
Ha. No.
the Lyon bisexual epiphany

Yep however the title can be referred to as a general location in myths/tellings as a utopia, peace, etc.
I make it fun for myself by benching Seth when I first get the chance in chapter 4

Am I the only one trying to play the piano part without knowing how?
Do I look like I'm rich enough to buy a piano?
rich20010 nope
One reason I came here was because of the 50K Special (guess who?)
The other is because I just like FE8's soundtrack.
Hope w underlying ominous impossibility and danger
