This is a good and moral lesson to all of us .
This was an emotional rollercoaster ride of a story. The poor choices of the birth mother reminds me of what happens to many people after they win the lottery. Extending kindness to stranger does not always workout in our favor but the actions we take in response will determine how God will swill move next. Our character in life can very much be part of what we pass on to our children as part of our legacy. Very powerful and beautifully told; thank you.

This story makes me ask if in real life is it the culture of Africans to consider the children guilty for the crimes that their parents commit?

Is not an African culture, just a human nature. Is just by grace of God people can see beyond their personal judgement to others.

I don’t know anything about Africa’s culture, but I ask because African Americans treat today’s White people as though they were the ones who enslaved them 405 years ago, so I thought to ask if it is an African culture to treat children guilty for the crimes of their parents.
That said, in America, our culture doesn’t hold children guilty for the crimes of their parents. We don’t blame children for the actions of their parents-that’s our culture, so I thought to ask in order to judge correctly African Americans and how they treat White people today.
