I thank God each day for these AA messages. I'm barely hanging on to sobriety. I have so many problems due to the wreckage of my past. These help give me strength. I need all the help I can get.
Hang in there buddy and don’t focus on the time aspect. It’s not a thing that makes any difference at all and the fact that everyone is always talking about it like it’s so important makes you think it times that it is but truthfully even one more day or two more days of time being sober has nothing to do with how you feel
Sending blessings to you from my struggle to you. It’s easy to cruise along when times are easy, it’s the in between that faith is everything. Your alcoholic yet also human.
I’ve been listening to these all night and it’s the funny ones make the most difference it has nothing to do with how much time someone has and the fact that people come into these common sections and begin the sentence with how many years they have sober is so absurd that you will never understand how absurd it is
Its so true everything said in this speech. I'm going to be one year sober August 3rd. It wouldn't of happened without God and AA. I wouldn't of told you that 3, 4 hell maybe 6 months ago. The book doesn't lie it saved my life.
God may not give me more than I can handle, but life does. Sometimes it's sunshine and roses and sometimes it's blowing a hurricane. The constant denominator is God's presence getting me through the good and the bad without picking up a drink. Twenty two years. Thank you, Bill, Dr. Bob, and the whole cast and crew that made AA possible.
I never got a dui but because every body was drunk driving back then the police looked the other way don’t make it right thanks Steve L. And thanks be to God for AA
Love his way of getting the message across to what the book describes the Real alcoholic . So true does morning first drink is it 00:05 or 1300 hrs for me I m not proud to say nearer to the midnight .
@@deborahvigil8196 I am I’ll never give up until god gives me it , taught I had it before but I know now it’s not up to me it’s up to my higher power sis . Hang in there and tanking my hp for not giving up on me ❤️🙏💪🏻👌

I agree, a laugh is great but it’s not a competition and begins to outweigh the message of our program is a spiritual malady. ( our disease is a spiritual malady) 😉rule 62
@@Mandalas12 Nope.. we need to laugh especially Alcoholics.. We didn't laugh much in the final days of our addiction.. it's a good balance if we can laugh and love in the fellowship of AA I think I know what you mean though,, so it's a tricky balance...
If it wasn’t for the bit of laughter at the start I wudnt of made it . The book says it were not a grim lot , I’ve be in a sad dark palace for nearly 25 years and my higher power didn’t get me out of that to be crying or bitching cauz some people just can’t be happy in recovery , sad and as they say not all off us in the rooms are the real deal addict or Alcoholic I sure no I am tank god for fellowship and connection love u all . PS hope I didn’t offend anyone
Steve's message was so profound and the humor just helped a drunk like me keep the attention needed to hear it. I will never slam these speaker's ability to hold our interest and make us laugh a little along the way. I hope I never take myself too seriously!

AA not N/A, I identify.
All these “funniest” shares. I’m wondering if anyone really takes their sobriety seriously, or is it an intro to stand up comedy?
