This might sound odd, but my BBW candle collection is a scent memory scrapbook of my last decade. It’s been such a fun hobby. The thrill of coupons in the mail, Semi Annual Sales, doing “UA-cam research” in preparation for Candle Day, and buying extras to hand to my grown children when they leave from an impromptu visit. When I light my older candles, I’m reminded of happy memories of those seasons. I light a different candle every morning while the coffee brews, and blow it out a couple hours later. Then select a different candle to enjoy a couple hours in the evening. Like you said, it’s really not that expensive, but has been judged critically by my extended family. Thank you, Bren for all the years of your UA-cam posts, which has added so much to the joy of my hobby. Love your personality and real-ness!
I have become a BBW candle hoarder - yes, it's official as updated spreadsheet and have 400+. Have to burn burn burn!! Look at the packaging on the oldies - just beautiful and wished some of the scents would be re-released by BBW! Thanks Bren
I thought I had a huge collection! I counted and have over 111 3-Wick Candles. I only started collecting within the last month or so. Needless to say, I am burning a candle as I text. They have been awesome Christmas gifts as well. Great Video!!
Welcome to the madness that is a lot of candles to purchase in a short amount of time I started collecting BBW candles on candle day 2019 I have over 220 of them now some of my friends and family think that I have a problem LOL and have even suggested an intervention

I am a single male parent, so the looks I get are priceless. lol The ladies at the store ask me: "Why do you need so many candles"? My response is: "I don't, If I could find a good lady; would spend my money in other places"...lol I am about to place another order after I finish this response...lol

No judgement though-I’m a collector myself but I’ve been candle collecting hard for about 3-4 years (although I’ve always been into candles-and have been burning them since I was a teenager) I just found myself collecting more seriously the last few years…I just started looking into all these candle communities the past month or so…this is so cool to see actual collections!

So many gems! I was able to get a one-time burned prickly pear and sugarcane for $28 on eBay. It definitely lives up to the hype and will only burn it sparingly.
Thank you for sharing your collection I really enjoyed it. I laughed when you said people imply your rich for having so many candles. My coworkers also make fun of me for having so many candles. I love them, they make me love my home even more.

I pretty much only have Blueberry Twist as a "vintage" candle. The rest are all the most recent version of the candles I like, and all together with my BBW, Yankee, Village, Kringle, Homeworx, etc, I think my total is around 140. You've got a much more extensive collection. Props for that! Lol Truthfully, though, I remember the days where I had 4 candles, and thought...why would I need more than that? 2 years later, here I am...

Every once and a while I like to try a local candle brand, but I always end up going back to Bath & Body Works since those 3 wicks just throw the best! Everything else seems light by comparison, I swear
I completely agree with you about strawberry cupcake smells better then strawberry pound cake. I hope to one day have a collection like yours I just started collecting candles on candle day 2019. I've bought 102 so far, I have also burned alot of candles to this year, which I'm kinda kicking myself for now lol..

I live in L.A. I’d be so bummed if I had that huge of a candle collection and there was an earthquake!! I burn my candles every day so I don’t ever have a ton to store. Typically only a handful on standby lol 😆 Really pretty candle collection and organization! Lol I like your comparison to your friend’s horse which is more than a hobby, it’s a sport & also a horse is a living animal so requires much more care. I understand what you’re getting at. Just teasing you! My favorite candle is the signature Anthropologie scent, “Volcano” by Capri Blue. I also really love Voluspa candles which are also available at Anthropologie but I first discovered them at Nordstrom. The rose scents are great but my favorite is Santiago Huckleberry if you want a new one to try out! B&BW Island Margarita & the Teakwood scents always make me happy! Just seeing your video make me dread the day I’m gonna do a collection video I kno that was a lot of work I dust my candles every 2 weeks but that is different I take half of the shelf dust put them back then move to the other half but to take them all down at once then have to put them all back nice and neat just seems like a lot of work I have 342 😲😔 Thanks for the video 🙏
Your collection is awesome and I love the way that you display them it was so interesting to see some of the candles that were before my time and I wonder why BBW has not brought some of them back as much as I love black cherry Marlow I do not need to see it every season I feel the same about champagne toast and peach Bellini one collection bringing them out is enough for season we don't need them in two or three they could use that space to bring other ones back thank you so much for sharing this awesome collection and don't worry about what other people think I have the same issue with some of my friends and family who think that I'm insane for my candle collection I work for the money it's my decision what I spend it on it makes me happy gives me something to look forward to coming home and burning someone I collect high end purses some guys collect cars so I don't see where my little $12.25 purchase on sale even holds a candle to what they spend excuse the pun LOL happy holidays Bren remember that you are loved and very much appreciated

My outlet has always been concerts. I've been going crazy withiut them but at least I have my playlists and now my candles. If I could I would name candles after certain songs. 🤘😎🤘

Yeah...good question. I've seen videos of candle people online with items from like 2012 they still burn. Essential carrier oils usually last 2-3yrs however some up to 15. Google says 1-4 mths however I think that is companies trying to get you to buy more. You also have to look at the ingredients to make the candle, storage and how long you burn and how you put out the flame. You can also add scent back to candles if it lost it too so don't throw it out. Melt it down and make a new candle.
I just asked you how many candles you had & I found the answer. I love the cinnamon Irish Creme & the Coconut Macaroon, I hope they bring back for 2021. Fall is my favorite season & then winter candles. How long can you keep the BBW candles to where they burn well & smell the same? Great collection!😁
The chalkboard design on this years Vanilla Pumpkin Marshmallow and Pumpkin Apple were adorable. 2018 Christmas in all forms will forever be with me. Probably cause that's when I really got into them and realized candles can smell good and not just be an air freshener scent. One positive of the candles this winter (that I had) is that the wicks were so strong they had to be trimmed instead of drowning. I'm a little b*tthurt that Peppermint Marshmallow wasn't out in 3-wick and I will stock up whenever it comes back. Give me the spray at least. I don't ask for much and find pleasure in some of the simplest things, but I will forever crave that scent. So many good scents that didn't come back this year or last year. Banana Cabana was my summer jam and Bamboo was good for Spring.
I so regret passing on Palm Leaves and Mango when it was out! This was such a great video! Thanks for doing it 🙂 I wish people wouldn't be so judgemental so you could skip the disclaimers. People need to mind their own business if they think they need to express a negative comment. Sheesh!
LOL I agree with your statement about Merry Cookie. Such a shame that it's bad halfway through. I tell myself to buy just one or none every year. Man, I wish they brought back Coconut Leaves & Cinnamon Frosting since they used to be out frequently.

I have the Pink Lemonade Pound cake in a three wick in the original sweet shop packaging It may have only come out in Canada in three wick. I see lots of faves that I'd love to have again Honey Tangerine, Mocha swirl uggh so good!!

Any scent with cinnamon smells like burnt wax to me and kills my eyes! The maple combos all smell the same to me as well.🤷♀️ Marshmallow fireside is my 🤩
I have people who comment on how I waste my money on perfume. I have about 45 and I think that is reasonable. Any more I don’t find rational but I still have way more than the average person. There are people who do drugs or drink or smoke cigarettes and spend more money than I do. Yes people have other more expensive hobbies. These are healthy hobbies/habits.
I don’t think they ever brought back radiant red maple, I wish they would though. I probably have about 1000 candles. I get criticized all the time, but I don’t care.😁

I have people who comment on how I waste my money on perfume. I have about 45 and I think that is reasonable. Any more I don’t find rational but I still have way more than the average person. There are people who do drugs or drink or smoke cigarettes and spend more money than I do. Yes people have other more expensive hobbies. These are healthy hobbies/habits.
I don’t think they ever brought back radiant red maple, I wish they would though. I probably have about 1000 candles. I get criticized all the time, but I don’t care.😁
