Veg Coleslaw Grilled sandwich
Cabbage 1 cup
Capsicum ½ cup
Carrot ½ cup
Onion ½ cup
Salt 1 tbsp
Sugar ½ tbsp
Vinegar 1 tbsp
Bread slices 4-6 nos.
Butter 40 gms
Mayonnaise 3 tbsp
Black pepper 1 tsp
Cheese 1 cube
Method:
Cut the vegetables (cabbage, capsicum, carrot & onion) as shown in the video.
Take a bowl, add those vegetables, salt, sugar, black pepper powder, vinegar, mix it and keep aside.
After some time, squeeze out the juices from vegetables.
Now add mayonnaise to the vegetables and mix well.
Take bread slices and apply butter & mayonnaise.
Fill it with mixture, grate some cheese and close it with a slice of bread.
Heat a sandwich maker, add butter, place the sandwich and grill it to form a crispy crust.

Years ago, i used to eat coleslaw with burgers etc as a side dish at NARULAS restaurant. They used only cabbage i think. That taste is something i yearn for. If anyone can share that recipe, i would be very greatful. Thanks
An easier way to do the cutting for a Coleslaw is to use a potato slice which you use to make wafers. It will give you the same texture in a fraction of time
