Thanks for the video. Sometimes, like in that Hawks game, I think the defense seems to fall apart because, by that point, he has them confused and seemingly out of options. Eventually, they have no idea what he is going to do next, even if he tells them. Shoot? Pass? High? low? over his head? behind his back? bounced aroouund me? thru my legs? Will he drive around me? Launch a rainbow stepback and sucker me into a foul, too? What is he patiently waiting for? a move from a teammate? a move by me? which move is least dangerous? Oh, no, he's got the ball again. Oh, no, he's passed it off. Now, where is he going? Crap, he burned me again. No! Crap. Not THIS ti... crap. I got him this time! Whoa, wait... crap. _Whatever_ you do next is the wrong move because he has a countermove in his bag of tricks and the skill to execute it. That stuff has to induce sleepless nights like Worthy speaks of. Bird is so much fun to watch. Legend.
Bird could do it all... shoot, pass, steal rebounds.. he and Magic made it look so incredibly easy... the game hasn't been the same since they each retired
Might be starting some 💩 here... but who really gives a duck... It's just a comment thread. But, I'm glad to see yet another AA man provide equal respect & praise when speaking on the GREAT... #33🍀... Mr. Larry Bird. I wouldn't say your opinion of the legend in any way falls into the realms of the minority from the overall opinion of the said Great within the AA community... But, w/in this specific community is where I'm confronted by the small percentage of persons of whom still doubt this man's obvious abilities... Claiming that his 🏀 skill "Was NO BETTER than any other of the NBA's Good AA Players... & that if he weren't Americas Great White Hope @ that time," that he would have ONLY gone down into the record books as being just that. I'm happy your shared video upload & shared commentary sided with the overall majority & not of this recent years "minority status quo"... Otherwise.
There is no one in basketball today ! Since Larry bird to have three back to back to back MVPs no one only two others before him wilt chamberlain can't remember the other
After Larry won Rookie of the Year in 7 out of the next eight seasons he was either first or second in the MVP voting. The one off year he was third and It let magic Johnson win his first MVP about 8 years in

Think if he had. Real sneakers first few seasons...his left hand is what made him so hRd to guard along with his I.Q.
Facts I definitely agreed 💯 and the crazy part about it if they wore the sneakers today maybe some may not face any ankle injuries
