Oneshot: If Player does a True Pacifist, and never resets after the ending. You have received a notification from the Undertale game, which you didn’t eliminate after completing a few years ago, yet you haven’t opened ever since. You click on the notification… * Hey Partner, it’s been a while, hasn’t it? * I’m not sure if this is going to reach you, but it’s worth the attempt. * I just wanted to say… thank you. * Thank you for giving this world such aftermath, and thank you for keeping it. * You didn’t reset, and allowed this world to continue despite you no longer able to be a part of it. * Things seem to have been going great, I must say… * Mother became a teacher at a school, teaching children about the monsterkind. * Father has been busy dealing with humans, but so far, it’s been… alright. * Papyrus became a celebrity, he’s happier than ever. * Sans is still a lazy comedian, and humans seem to like him through Papyrus’ streams. * Undyne became a police officer, while Alphys is now a scientist helping innovate the Surface. * The human, Frisk… They’re enjoying life. Believe it or not, your vessel does have a will of their own. * Azzy… well, he visits Frisk from time to time. * Ever since the day of that battle, he’s softened up, despite still being a soulless flower. * And lastly, me… I’ve been… watching. * It is a shame to not be able to be a part of this ending, to be honest. * From time to time, I wonder… what are you doing? How are you doing? * Who are you behind that screen? * And most importantly… is this why you hesitated to leave this world? * Because you knew that while everybody would be happy, you wouldn’t be a part of it…? * I can understand that feeling now… the feeling I once called ‘perverse’. * You never RESET out of cruelty, nor did you ERASE because it made you feel good… * You just wanted to explore this world to its fullest, before leaving it with a happy ending. * I guess that you are kind of similar to Azzy… he never could let go of the past, and wanted it to keep going… * But I appreciate that you recognized that there’s an end to everything. * Now, this world can appreciate an aftermath that was all desired… * Maybe humanity isn’t that bad after all. * Maybe it was right to keep hoping. * … * I’m getting a bit emotional, sorry about that. But the point is still the same. * I’m genuinely glad that you kept your promise, even though it means to never see you again. * Thank you very much, Partner. * I wish you well as you move on to the next world.
@@theredhood2796 Thanks. I genuinely don’t get why people make Chara and the Player be enemies in lots of fan games or other pieces of media. Like, in the game, Chara’s attitude fully depends on the Player when you think about it. In Genocide, Chara is careless to the deaths of everyone. They even slash Sans for you as surprise attack. In Neutral, Chara simply encourages you to keep going. And in Pacifist, they help you by providing memories and flashbacks to Asriel and gives you hope. If you do Genocide too many times, Chara encourages you to do a different route, as they want something new… Like us. Chara is a reflection of the Player in my mind, which is why I wrote them the way I did… Them understanding what it feels to have control now that the Player is gone, but not truly being a part of the world they so clearly love and enjoy… just like how some of us once felt, wanting to take part in the True Pacifist Ending. Chara supports you all the time until you refuse to ERASE the world in Genocide Ending, which makes sense, since the goal in the Genocide Route is just to kill the enemy. The goal of Neutral Route is to move forward. The goal of Pacifist Route is to SAVE/help. To say that Chara and Players are enemies… would only happen if the Player actively tries to provoke Chara.
rose into a fire or rose into a fire ? i cannot know. you did great. you brought the monsters some happiness. you brought them to the sunlight, even my dad and mom. leaving me trapping with my best friend down here, but it's fine. i've already in this place for hundreds of years, and will be.. see you never.
Hey Catastrophic, is it ok if I use the thumbnail in this video as a cover for a story I'm writing? I'll leave a link and a shoutout to this video ofc. No worries if you'd rather not tho

Good story
@@bendysama1728 Thx. I feel like people always undermine that Chara and the Player are supposed to be PARTNERS.
@@glitchzer0o83 I’m glad to see someone else actually fully acknowledging that fact.

@@glitchzer0o83 I feel that. Same when people try to blame the genocide route on Chara as if the player wasn’t the one in control.
