- After living in Japan and experiencing the mighty Mitsubishi Mirage chassis I took the opportunity to get one for myself. This video gives you a quick tour of the car and some of my driving impressions as is before I start heavily modifying it. The car may be a boring economy car now but I promise I have some very fun plans for this car so stay tuned.

Facebook marketplace is a cesspool but it’s where you find the best deals. Carsales is great for higher end cars. Occasionally Gumtree provides a deal or two but it’s pretty quiet these days.

Is it a Mirage Asti？
Yes it is! In Australia we call them Lancer's for some reason. Not sure why because we call the hatchback aa "Mirage" but the coupe a "Lancer". It honestly makes no sense to me at all lol.
Also bonus fact it has the chassis number CJ5A instead of CJ4A in the Japan models I drove.
