"Oh, ok. It's only a destroyer, no need to angle against his tiny guns. He can't do meaningful damage to me from that distance."

@@JohnDoe-ff2fc The view Jingles is using was a disconnect from what I was seeing as I played it...IOW, I wasn't looking at either of the ships that torped me so didn't see either of them coming, even tho it looks like it from the way Jingles did the replay.. it was hillarious... Lyle torped me and then the other Div mate (Thrishul) ended up with a Kraken at the buzzer to win the battle... I had never been tk torped by two different team mates in one game though.... ;)

Jingles, have you got into the salt again? If a carrier dies, but still has a squad in the air, he/she has 3 minutes to make any more attack runs before the aircraft "return to base"
This was why the furious attacked the war spite instead of spotting, because he only had 3 minutes.
that and by the time he attacked the spite, he probably only had 60 seconds left in the air, and the nelson was not going to get a firing angle in time

Nelson video! The Nelson is my favorite ship so far. I do have a tier 9 Lion as I'm trying to get to the Conqueror but it is so underwhelming. I keep finding myself going back to the Nelson because of it's tight groupings, crushing 16" guns and amazing HE and fire chance. Plus I love the way it looks.

There was a radio commercial many years ago for a local small loan company. They did loans for home improvement, used cars, etc. The commercial ended with this line sung with an Italian accent advertising, "The Lone-A Ranger!!!"

You take several citadels and get told "That's a paddling" and then that laugh :) They'll probably go the other way though :)
Hopefully they don't record him like the old Steveie Seagul Captain, he used to sound like he was bored, dead tired and hated doing the voice over all at once :) Glad they fixed him.

I have to admit, I've had the same thing that happened to my destroyer happen to me as well, however I must point out that in the first clip, he saw the destroyer lining up for a run, and cut in front of him, rather than going around behind him.
This was captain failure on both sides.
keep in mind that what you are seeing is not what I played, but how Jingles chose to look at the replay.. I was focused on targets, not looking behind me to check for friendly torps, because... one should n't need to keep an eye on his team mates for this, eh? ... lol

The Nelson is without a doubt my fav RN Battleship so far, very rare I have a bad game with her. You should always rock the AP and largely ignore the HE in my experience.
I'm normally using HE at either far away (15 km+) or angled battleships and DDs, otherwise it's AP-time. Is that what you were talking about?
Pretty much, but still use AP at long ranges since its good at picking off overconfident cruisers @@schlichtnsbuh

That intro reminded me, I miss 'Why you heff to be mad'. Also technically, Nelson has one of the worst 16-inch AP shells in the game. I don't remember which of it and Mutsu had the worst pen between the two of them but it's still a 16-inch shell and overmatches the snot out of anything without 32mm plating
HMS Nelson is a fun ship. A bit slow, so you have to plan your moves carefully. But those 9 -16 inch salvos rock!
What Dark Magic is this? AA that KILLS planes!?!?!?! This must be playback from some alternate reality, because In my universe, that CV would have easily destroyed him. :(
The beginning of the game happened to me once, way back when I was playing the Wyoming, except it was intentional. A 3 man division was on our team, and for no reason, 2 of them tried to kill me with torpedoes (when the TK system was nowhere near as strict as now) The first, a Phoenix, torpedoed me right on the bow, luckily I had just enough hp to survive the flooding until my repair control came off cooldown. The second one, a Clemson tried to finish me off. Luckily I had just enough reaction time to turn and dodge behind an island, even better the third division mate, whom I cannot remember, I think a Phoenix as well, or an Omaha, killed his Clemson division mate after hearing what I was going through. The enemy team had a pretty good laugh at my expense.

@@hoodibaba6419 I dont know. I just recently recorded and uploaded one of my subscribers games on my channel. And his replay had som scroll zooming as well. Maybe I could have bypassed this somehow when I recorded his replay file but I dont know how...

fun fact: Not a SINGLE other warship was EVER built like the Nelson - because said ship was UNABLE to maneuver at lower speeds due to ALL the superstructure so far in the back. It's virtually unsteerable in the port and required SEVERAL tugs until it was cleared of all the port facilities, the port and anything else in range.
A true failure in design...

I had a great a game a couple weeks ago with my Missouri, was island camping and the enemy team ignored me and a Belfast and I whooped their asses. I tried looking for it and I didn't know about the 30 replay default thing that came in some time ago, and because I didn't know about it, its lost forever even though I renamed it.
Except for the Belfast I was with, he put it up on the Tube. There also might be other people who have it but he's the only one I know of. RIP glory

your sink enemy warship line needs to be "enemy ship sent to the salt mines" and all your ship class spotted callouts have to be mixed up for the definitive jingles experience.

have a good trip jingles, and try and stay out of the gulag
top tier BB moves exactly 2 squares and is then suprised that his whole team is dead and he has to carry. some advice, if you actually try and SUPPORT your team while they are alive, instead of just dithering around 2 squares from your spawn, you might find games actually go a little easier

Don't worry Jingles... all the friendly Destroyers have all gone to the forums to complain about how they where constantly spotted by the enemy CV and that their friendly CV provided no air support... They are also probably adding that waves and waves of aircraft where hitting them all game as well.
1 or 2 aircraft wouldn't have been enough to survive the AA to get the strike off.
