Hello, I recently bought an iPhone 12 Pro, and the battery used to last for about 5 hours with 100% battery health. However, after updating to iOS 18, it’s now down to 95% in just 15 days. So, could you please answer the following questions for me? 1. Is it normal for the battery to drain from 100% to 0% in 5 hours or 5 hours and 30 minutes just from using social media, without any games? 2. Does using the camera and editing photos consume a lot of battery? Is this a normal occurrence? 3. Why did Apple make the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro’s battery capacity 2815 mAh when it is lower than that of the iPhone 11, XR, XS, XS Max, etc.? ios 18 and 17 which consumes more battery drain Thank you, and I look forward to your response! I follow your youtube
1. iPhone 12 is like 4 years old phone so yes. 5 hours of screen on time can b normal. 2. Yes, editing consume lot of battery also it depends on which editing app you are using. Camera also consumes more battery. 3. I have to ask that to apple but I think they tried to lower down the capacity and tried to make it optimise but didn’t work out. iOS 18 and iOS 17 both are pretty much same. For now 18 is consuming more battery and draining as it is still going through different bugs and issues.
Camera consume the battery a lot, like seriously a lot I have the Xr when I just to take normal photo not much, the battery percentage drains every minute, also editing photo or videos .
iOS 18.0.1 vs 18.1 which one’s battery 🔋 is better
18.1

17.7
Still better than 18.0.1?
Yes it is better
No reason to update if you like a healthy battery. On ios 17.3, I get 10 hours of usage on screen time with about 80% of battery usage
