He drafted a DT in the second round that he could’ve gotten in the late third or fourth round, he drafted a center that he could’ve gotten in the fourth of fifth round… so many terrible decisions

Rivera was given all power as not only coach but GM and had his choice to draft and construct the team the way he saw fit. The dude never took accountability for his mistakes and was all talk. As a saints fan I have the upmost respect for Riverboat Ron he always had his squad ready to play us. Wish it could have gone better for him in Washington

Did not like Ron as our HC but damn he can break the game down. Make him a Co-Host or give him a show or a podcast. Very knowledgeable guy. Could teach the game to a lot of people

He has no clue whatsoever about anything going around him. He was talking as if Tyron Smith AND Pollard are still in Dallas. Love the man, but you could simply see the game has passed by him and it affected his game planning, team building strategy, player evaluation and scheme selection. As the coach of my team, it just always felt we were on step behind everybody : in-game challenges, free agency, special teams, draft process, analytics, coaching staff. All the small edges needed to win were forgotten under Ron and it got us where we are today
You signed your signature on that contract, Ron & took the money, and stopped it. Pressure of what exactly? It's simple, if the media asked you questions other than football, you don't have to answer, period. You were a terrible coach & talent evaluator, I'm glad you're gone 😂

Riveras best season was 7-9 in his first year, he also was hired with a coach centric position, meaning he was also our GM and got to construct the roster he saw fit. Snyder didn't even meddle cause he was busy running away from his legal issues, and in his last year he had a new owner, but still failed. Gruden was miles ahead of him
