I believe this was Rio's first interview and it against the best defensive boxer in our generation..he did really well even though at times it felt he was in awe of floyd which made part of interview a little awkward but still an awesome interview.
Love or hate him, he accomplished his goals,sorted his family members for life,he got my love..
I do both , what is done in the ring deserve to be loved , but his persona outside has not to be loved . Arrogance can not mask insecurities that are so obvious to see , he never been defeated and in the long run he would had been better for his peace of mind to distant himself to the "Money Goat" identity .

To be honest there will never be another fighter like Floyd he’s a one in a million.
Mayweather Jr is undoubtedly different from the other fighters he’s fought almost every big name and beat them all, not many boxers can retire with 50wins and not a single loss shows he’s finesse in the ring!

Great interview. Love seeing a humble Floyd. But it's also the interviewers job as to which side of the person he wants to bring out and Rio did a good job letting Floyd describe himself as opposed to butting in like a lot of our American journalists do. I think a Graham (forgot his last name) interview with Floyd would be great as well..

It’s truly fascinating to watch a FM interview. Also infuriating - the number of tangents he goes off on is incredible. I’m not sure how many questions he truly answered. He likes to stress that his faculties are intact but I’m not too sure.
He clearly, clearly, has slight brain damage. Just look at his earlier interviews and compare him to his current ones.
Thing is that he trained himself (or was trained) to be able to monetize everything he does and that's why he seems stuck on repeat - it's a combination of his slight brain damage and his mental monetary conditioning.

Tank Davis has a flawed character, he reminds me of Mike Tyson, a angry young man, he won’t eclipse Mayweather.
Gervonta is a punk, there is no comparison to Tyson whatsoever for me. Tyson lost his mentor and still overcame unbelievable odds .. Gervonta has a whole team behind him, and still can’t maintain his behavior, he wouldn’t be anybody w/o Floyd. He has a bright future if he can get his act together , but he will never surpass Floyd, Floyd came up at the perfect time, when 130-154 divisions were stacked with legends, and he beat them all .
