So if you already got the 60% Effect, using the technique Will waste of technique point. If you talking about Shield, yes his Shield is stack-able. Can stacked about 200% of his Shield that generated by skill. So it's not gimmick.
This is not true. I think you are getting his talent confused with his technique. His technique only takes the highest defense effect. The person was asking about does the technique stack at 0:06
