Those old Tin Ceilings were awesome. Copper was also used to make some of those tiles. This was a very nice home in its hay day. That stainless steel sink holding up while everything around it rots. Always cool to see old farm equipment. That sheering area was also cool. Awesome Explore Drew! Keep Orange Crushing It!
Yeah exactly Greg it will probably be somewhat in tact even in another 100 years. I think cos you guys have more rain overall, maybe things don't last as well? Thank you for watching my friend 🤗😍
its the freezing weather. water gets in, when it freezes, it expands and destroys things so much faster... you guys are lucky in this sense@@DrewsAdventuresGo
Thank you so much Heather. Yes I also wondered the same thing and can only imagine the piles of wool laying around the sorting table and against the classification walls 😍🐑
Absolutely fantastic That old shearing shed with the slatted area for holding sheep; the shearing board; the wool room; and a storage area for wool bales is excellent My first job is a teenager was a rouseabout in a sharing shed, because my grandfather was a “gun” A gun Shearer was the best shearer in the shed ❤❤
Thank you Fluff and I'm glad you know the terminology cos I couldn't quite think of the right words mate. Oh wow that's pretty awesome and I bet his was a strong as an ox bloke in his day. Did you also do the wool classification / table laying of the wool? Thank you for watching my friend 😍
Wow, I can't believe how intact this place is. It's truly remarkable . I love the architecture of it too and the stone used to make it. Really fits in with the surroundings. I kept thinking how beautiful this place would have been at one point, especially when you went to the first room with the fireplace. The second and third and fourth /5th room wasn't as intact with the rubble everywhere, but still I think at one time it would have looked so lovely. It's an amazing find. You did really well in filming here. I think I would have lost my footing and fallen over more than once lol 🤣 also, loved the tiles in that kitchen. The batroom was a bit creepy looking. I love they had sheep. I love sheep. 🐑🐑🐑
Thank you so much Corrine . Yeah it was actually a pretty good little place. Whilst not a lot inside the house itself the rest of it was fascinating with a lot of history left behind hey 😍🤗. Thank you for watching my friend 😍
Most facinating to me was that fully intact window blind in a near fully decayed house, odd lookin. It may seem crazy but I love it when I get to pause and zoom on an old newspaper and get to read an article, here I managed three. One, Port Augusta High School speech night contest, two, Port Pirie motorcycle scramble stating the winners. Also was the Angastan art competition. (true history not taught in any school I've attended!) Thanks for the tour Drew! 🤠👍
@@DrewsAdventuresGo It would help if more explorers paused even for a slight moment, as you did longer for the shoe ad, as opposed to panning past, blurring the print.
Thank you so much Derpy and yeah it's a different landscape from most of the US that's for sure but maybe we'd be closest to Arizona or Utah ish if we were gonna compare the landscape aspect. I love finding them. Lots of research and checking things out and being lucky too. Thank you mate 😍🤗
its going well got everything for my new place now enjoying the warm weather still adjusting to the constant noise tho they love there thumping sound systems here :)@@DrewsAdventuresGo
