I think that in canon Bon Bon helps Funtime Freddy to calm down because of his anger issues, so he probably thought that he wasn't for real when he talked about the human. Just what i think anyways.

IDK if its just bc if they get caught he's gonna get thrown as a weapon move or if he just doesn't have the murder kids programming bc he's technically an accessory and is just peaceful as a result or what but it's definitely interesting since thr concept of one of the animatronics working in the background to save the security guard without them knowing is pretty cool

Edit: Yes. It is cannon, that Bon-Bon is a girl. The voice recorder and her voice from UCN (Ultimate Custom Night), are the same, and are female voices. Of course, like F. Foxy being fan made a female, it is fine to change Bon-Bon's gender.
