I have a wolf on my violin that is very obvious at B-flat high up on the G-string. It is practically impossible to play that note on the G-string. Are there wolf eliminators for violins that I can buy?

Hello, I have the same issue on my Electric guitar, Music Man Majesty. Is there something similar I can purchase for that?

Hello! Electric guitar is a bit outside of our immediate purview, but here's a helpful article we dug up on the subject: www.seymourduncan.com/blog/the-players-room/eliminating-wolf-tones

It sounds to us that it's resonant towards those notes. Depending on your experience, if you're a newer player this issue may go away after some experience. Besides that, higher quality instruments tend to be more balanced and not run into these issues. In all other cases, you can try experimenting with different E strings or guitar sets. Hope this helps!

@@SharMusicTV Thank you,..no i play for years now,..all kinds of string instruments ,..but my specialty is guitar,..i don't think you understand, it sound to me like a mechanical fault its not like depends of my technical playing so we assume that it will go away...its like similar to this video,..it has a certain laud sustain frequency on different places(fields) on the neck,..and i've noticed that those fields are E tone,..or you can see it this way doesn't have to do anything with that particular tone E,..just i wonder what causes this and how to fix it...

Yep! It sounds like you have a wolf tone on your acoustic guitars. The wood for those instruments is vibrating more when those notes are played. For an acoustic guitar, the fix is a little more involved and particular to the instrument. If you have a luthier available nearby, that would be our recommendation!

Might be confusing calling him a bassist when he is talking about the cello in this instance
