- Vibrato Exercises For Singers // This vocal exercise for vibrato will help you to find your natural and beautiful vibrato without straining your voice. Vibrato should always come naturally without pushing and this vibrato exercise will help you unlock your vibrato. I used the song Leave The Door Open by Silk Sonic for this exercise for vibrato. Have fun practicing and remember, tension is a vibrato suppressor!

Good exercise, i can do the vibrato but i have to get a better control.
Can you make a low notes exercise ? I need to get better with them especially breath control to get there.
If my voice box / larynx isn’t moving when i do the vibrato does it mean i am doing it wrong? My voice definitely vibrates and i can do it easily pretty fast but my larynx isn’t moving up and down.

Did you use head voice with "leave the door open"?
In this case I did, yes. Many singers feel it's easier to do vibrato in head voice than when belting cause there's usually less tension. Great question! =)

What kind of exercises do you recommend if you struggle with doing the h's the hihihihi hehehehehe?
Try changing the vowel :) maybe put it on an "ah" or "eh" sound and see if thats easier !

Cool exercise! But why not emphasize that the half-step-down pitch-bend on the second syllable of "open" is actually your vibrato slowed-down. And what's wrong with controlled vibrato by the way? A one-size-fits-all vibrato is only practical for musical-theater or opera . . . . .
